I also scrup my walls and clean floors daily. I wash blankets and bedding more often than usual. Fabric freshener for everything daily, ect. lol I have 8 dogs and sometimes more, and other furbabies. People who come to my house for the 1st time always say how they can't belive I have so many animals and how good it smells in my house lol

If you put dryer sheets under your furniture, make sure you put it where your dog or cat can't get it and eat it.

Look into changing out your showers head in that bathroom to one that has a removable hand held shower head. They reach down as far as your dog stands and you won’t need to use the cup method. They don’t cost much and are easy to change out with your current shower head. 👌

I bought at Walmart, the hose attachment for the shower it has a container for the shampoo and it can be used as suds mode, rinse mode, and a lower pressure for around the face. I thought I might regret buying it but with it I don’t have to scrub them at all! It has silicone thick teeth for scrubbing but you really don’t need it! I sud them up then rinse. And it get ALL dirt and dog odor off. It takes me 2 minutes to wash my mini poodle and about 5 for my German Shepherd!!! It is amazing. Its only $24. Also a plus that it disperses the shampoo very well and the shampoo lasts a really long time. I always have shampoo left over in the container after every use.

I love Glimpse of Gel! I have heard nothing but amazing things about the O'Cedar mop, I have not heard anyone say they dont like this mop, I think I need this mop lol. Also, literally jaw dropped to the floor when I seen you mopping your walls, every spring and fall when I do my semi annual deep clean/organization through out my whole house, I wash my walls, by hand, I NEVER would have thought to use a mop! Or use laundry detergent to clean it! THANK YOU! LOL!

I've wiped the walls with vinegar water upon moving in to every apartment I ever rented. Most of them only took one go to clean but one place I lived the water was black for the first wash and yellow for the next 3. I think the previous tenant smoked in the apartment even though it was not allowed.

I have never found a vacuum this good at picking up the hair though so I just deal with having to empty it frequently. I know it is really popular to put powders on your floors. However, you should really refrain from doing so since it will clog and ruin modern vaccumes and shampooers.
Also. If you do use a shampooer, do jot use a lot of solution in it. Very little, pretty much the size of a quarter. Shampooer solutions have plastics in it that will actually coat your carpet and eventually ruin your carpet. They bank on people putting a ton of cleaner in the tank thinking it will clear better but will actually ruin it. Especially if you sprinkle powder and then shampoo later. You will never 100% get up that powder and once you shampoo you gunk up your shampooer and carpets

I used to use a tiny bit of laundry detergent in water for my carpet machine. And if I knew I was going to have guests a quick go with some nice smelling fabric softener made the place smell great. I would not recommend using fabric softener often for the same reason you recommend not using a ton of carpet cleaner.
