During the pandemic, I binge watched all episodes of That’s So Raven, and hearing about T’Keyah helping her grandma, was pretty sad; made me think about my grandma, too. Can’t imagine what T’Keyah must’ve went through, but I’m glad that she’s doing okay. Love her energy. Funny and amazing. Can’t wait to see her again on Raven’s Home, and I hope that there’ll be a sixth season and more.

It was so sad when she left, she just disappeared. She was such a joy in the show, it was heart breaking to hear about her grandmother but glad to know the cast had her back and welcomed her with open arms

That's So Raven meant a lot to me. Raven and I share the same birth date of December 12, 1985. She was born earlier in the day than I was, but to be the same age growing up watching her in so many things, and That's So Raven being amazing. Just means a lot. Tanya Baxter was my favorite side character I call them. When I noticed she was gone I was really sad, and then not there in Ravens Home just felt weird. I'm more than happy she's back.
All these years they had me thinking this lovely lady left the show because of disagreements in her contract but all along she felt the need to leave because she wanted to take full care of a loved one who was severely sick. I would LOVE to see her reprise her role as Mrs. Baxter!!

That's So Raven premiered at the cusp of my adolescence, and T'Keyah has been one of my all-time favourite TV moms because she wasn't a mom stereotype: She had character, personality, prerogative, etc. I grew up with her on In Living Color, so I was already quite familiar with T'Keyah, but I'll forever associate her with the role of Tanya Baxter. I think it was obvious she had genuine affection for her TV family. It aided in the suspension of disbelief. I found the mother-daughter relationship between Tanya and Raven especially believable. You could completely believe that Raven inherited a lot of her spunk from her mother. The knowing looks between the family members made it strange when you remembered these are people that didn't really live together. I remember being disappointed when T'Keyah didn't return, and I find it sad to think she thought she wouldn't be missed. It took me quite a while to get used to the dynamic without her, but I'm glad she made the decision that she did, and I'm annoyed the media blew it up into a controversy. T'Keyah and Tanya are equally charming women, so I'm pretty psyched she'll be back on Raven's Home. I'm a little old for the show these days, but I'll be catching this finale episode and any others she'll be on.

Yes T'Keyah it was noticed when you left the show, they kept giving reason why you weren't home, but it still wasn't the same. She was just as entertaining as Raven was on the show, the show really wasn't the same.
