    Was this procedure performed via FUT or FUE? Also, the hair line looks really nice.

      The was FUT, thank you for the kind compliment on the work. The patient is extremely happy!

    After they get this done are they able to wear weaves and braids or no due to tension or relaxers or chemical services?

      Why would you do that after investing in such a procedure.

    How much was this procedure?

    • @mcgrathmedical4780

      The standard pricing of grafts at McGrath Medical is currently: $5 for FUT - $6 for FUE. Each patient's cost will vary depending on graft count, model discounts, etc. The best way to get a correct estimate would be to speak with our inhouse hair consultant, who will give you a much clearer idea as to what would be your price. Remember, hair transplants are an expensive procedure. It's not uncommon for a procedure to cost upwards of $12,500 for a 2500 graft FUT procedure.

    Was she put to sleep for this procedure ?

      All patients are given medication prior to their procedure to help them relax. Many fall asleep during the procedure, others simply watch movies throughout. Each patient is different.

    Hi! How long does a transplant last for?

    • @janice184
      @janice184 2 ปีที่แล้ว +13

      For the rest of your life unless more traction is added I suppose

    • @mcgrathmedical4780
      @mcgrathmedical4780  2 ปีที่แล้ว +16

      Yes, be careful with tension with all your hair from this point on.

      All patients are given medication for pain management following their procedure. Most of our patients say that sleeping with their head upright for the first few nights is the hardest part, and that the pain is very mild. The stitches from the strip procedure , or FUT, may be where some patients complain of any pain.

    How long is procedure.

      Each patient's time in the chair will vary. It is common for patient's to expect to be in the OR for about 5-6 hours in total. However, graft count and extraction style may change the length of time.

    Was it FUE?

      Follicular Unit Extraction. Essentially, the hair follicles are taken out individually, rather than in a dissected portion of tissue from the back of the head, referred to as a "Strip" procedure or Follicular Unit Transplantation.
