It's a song about forgetting about organized religion and just falling in love with Jesus and what He represents, Love. Pastor Lee has love on his heart and soul. He's a beautiful person who has made a difference. You don't have to be religious, just spiritual with love on your heart and charity in your soul. To emulate Jesus and care about the downtrodden, the weak, the forgotten, the disabled and the unloved. To do what you can to help. Even little acts of kindness can help make the world a nicer place. One thing that breaks my heart is how the adoptive parents refer to their adopted children. They say “our children could have wound up on the street” even though they hadn’t even met these kids yet. They speak about their kids as if it was destiny or fate, like they were always meant to be together before they even met, that they were their children before they even met.
It’s so beautiful.

When we went back to the orphanage in China my sister was adopted from, the owner ran over to her and called her by her Chinese name. Last time they met, she was a baby. Some really special people run orphanages.

I'm not religious but I'm so in love with Jesus it's changed my life. I'm free of fear and full of hope, joy and gratitude. I try to live my life as Jesus would, caring for and helping others. Pastor Lee has succeeded where I've just tried. He's an amazing man with a loving heart and a true Christian. Funny thing happens when you begin helping others, their reaction fills you with a happiness that's so exhilarating and fulfilling. You almost feel selfish for feeling so good. May you be richly blessed with spiritual fulfillment. 💖
I have felt the divine presence of the Holy Father and heard His voice. I have seen Jesus and He has talked to me. The Holy Spirit has talked through me to others. They are very real. You will see it from God’s perspective. And we get to know who God through Jesus Christ... Because Jesus is God in the flesh. @Abrilla 2 M A lot of us are trying really hard. Our efforts to improve the lives of many are often ignored. I recognize "cultural Christianity" in my country and the areas it deviates from the standard that I believe the Bible asks of disciples of Christ. I've started doing mini Bible study series in my area to begin to tackle that issue. It's a large task, but don't discredit all of us.

I was a 20 yr old single mother who sure could have used some of Pastor Lee’s compassionate counseling. I kept my baby & made it through but still carry the stigma on my heart to this day. When a woman - or worse, a girl, for many of them are still so young themselves - is made to feel unforgivable, unlovable, and shameful for bearing a child, it can be an emotional scar throughout her lifetime no matter how successful she later becomes. The world needs more Pastor Lees & teams like his. Thank God for His goodness!

Tears poured out when I saw Sarang's father. Pastor Lee inspired him and now he has his own organization helping single dads. It's true kindness is contagious, spread it around.

Roach in the Hood - it’s very very rare to see Korean parents show each other affection... at least the older gen. In fact, I don’t ever remember even seeing my parents have fun together just themselves. I never even saw them hug each other.
I was talking to my coworkers once about my parents and how I hugged them growing up (they were affectionate to us kids). All 5 other coworkers who are Asian (Korean, Chinese, Cambodian) said that it was crazy. None of them have ever experienced a hug from their parents. To me, that sounds insane especially since I’m a mom now. But that’s the reality of Asian families.
Most older Asians never experienced love from their parents so it’s just something they never know they need to do. In fact, I was told by my mom’s friend to not hold my baby too much for fear it would spoil him and make him too needy or greedy for attention. My mom forced me to wrap him up in so much clothing when I wanted to continue the skin-to-skin contact we did at the hospital. Asian parents are so controlling and so bizarre.
Can’t even put into words how courageous and a blessing he was to so many people. Loved this follow up

I remember seeing a very old documentary of pastor lee. I always wanted to know what happened to him. I’m glad he’s still able to do this work at his age. He is truly one of gods angels on earth.

The documentary I've seen was the one from dateline that aired last 2013. During that time, people are trying to shut down baby box. It's a good thing that it's still running until now.

@@gwen5095 it has good and bad effect that's why they say it's illegal. One of the bad effect is that it seems like you are tolerating people to abandon their children upon birth, but at the same time it gives others the chance to have a kid through adoption.
I seen it too and I was shocked! If the baby box wasn't there then the mothers wouldn't have another safe anonymous way to leave their babies somewhere, they'd end up coming to harm in one way or another. They need to look deeper into the issues causing people to give up their babies in such high numbers, rather than speak badly of a man who is only trying to deal with the problem at hand, which is making sure there is always a safe loving environment for those kids until their next step in life. The pastor is a real life Saint

As a woman and former kindergarten teacher, "Babybox" definitely caught my eye. I feel for both my kind and children, so I'll make sure to donate once my paycheck comes in. Thanks for introducing us to so many interesting and much needed charity projects.

They didn’t like not knowing who their parents were so the government made a law saying a child needed to be registered. However it being on the registry hurts people cause until recently your prospective employer could find out if you were a single parent, orphaned, etc.. supposed to be illegal now. A few celebrities are going to have to be single parents, impossible as they are managed by their companies as indentured servants. It is said that Apink isn’t allowed cell phones. So much control over waking minutes. Crayon pop said the group members were responsible for the costs of setting up the group and got a smaller portion of the profits. The contracts are too long. Every player is a part of the company not a lawyer paid for by the entertainer. Another issue. Korea also lessened the number of adoption by foreigners. They are not a poor country anymore. And older adoptees felt like they were sold. If you can’t put the baby on your family register cause it will haunt you whether you raise it or not and the child for life if you do raise it or the child remains in Korea and that registry could be attached to them in some way, you will abandon it illegally. That means dead babies. Thank goodness for the brave pastor. These are unnecessary orphans. So many babies are simply staying in state care in Korea. Many are actually children from broken homes. Shared custody isn’t complicated.
