I stumbled upon a DJ playing this on 80s night the other day. I love when I hear a song that I had forgotten about and it all just comes rushing back with a few bars of music.
Why have these videos been uploaded now? I'm utterly, beyond, thrilled that they have been. So good to see and hear House of Love have been a permanent feature on my Hi-fi since they first appeared.
I bought it on a whim back in 89 because I liked the cover, and it wound up being one of my favorite albums of that decade. It's a shame how few people know this band.

Late 80's early 90s.but they didnt make one bad song musically or lyrically.What happened to THOL-They are/were/still are brilliant.WTFH? a group with lyrics that hit you right on the bone...Christine is in the top 5 songs that i have ever heard...Im???????.Where are they? i need to know as im hitting 62 now and i need to see them before i go...Christine,House of love ,and & i remember another she-she-she-shine on and on and on......I hope all in the band are keeping well 🙏 a prayer tonight for them

Pretty sure I don't remember this track from 89' considering I was 10,maybe I did,maybe I didn't pretty sure I don't know why I Love You, I did a song similar to this but then I dropped it, and came up with some other idea with my producer I leave it to these guys not bad song tbh..
apart from being a HOL classic, I really like this video. Can't quite put my finger on why. Think it's the strong contrast in the camerawork, the way the focus is very close to the band members' faces and instruments. And then that foot massage in the middle of the video! :D
