Woolf and the Wondershow presents CAGES, a new musical experience LIVE in DTLA.
Welcome to Anhedonia, where emotion is forbidden, and hearts are locked in cages. Living in the shadows of the clocktower, Woolf spends his time bending broken gears into a sound machine.
When he meets the peculiar Madeline, everything changes. Long-buried stories come to the surface, and all he holds dear is threatened as the forces of the Judgement rise against him.

I was tearing up throughout the whole show from surprise and satisfaction induced by the insane creativity of the show! My jaw dropped the minute strong visuals entered, while holograms kept my eyes wide open, and my thoughts were filled with an absolute admiration for the production team. This is a cosmic creation initially organized by two young guys who thought of every detail and put up a wholesome performance. A segment of immersive theatre was also set up during the intermission. The story contained certain patterns associated with a ‘1984’ novel and ‘Beauty & The Beast’ tale. Always loved the idea how music can unite people and ‘make them feel’! The score written by one of the co-founders is truly incredible - mostly modern electronic sound. I understand why many people want to buy a full album with these songs.
I saw musicals and other shows in London, NYC, etc., but don’t remember seeing anything so magnificent for years! I will never forget this unique show. ‘Cages’ - in your memory for ages. Everybody go get your tickets asap!! 🤩😍❤️

Just saw Cages after they targeted me on IG with an ad. I decided to see how good IG was at targeting me with random events/shows so I just bought tickets with zero research on what Cages was. It blew my mind. Music was unbelievable. Sound/visual experience was like nothing I've ever heard or seen. Drinks were strong and balanced. I'll likely go again.
