      Thanks for the video, but im stuck and would like ur input i play with a 1350 dpi for all games and have my sense tailored in every game im i can do a 360 with the same amount of movement and distance and then i all play with my ads speed always being 76% of my hipfire speed, my question is can i keep and if so how can i keep my dpi 1350 with a sens of 5.68 (overwatch/cod sense) at 103 fov for all videos games but still apply the 1.21 coefficient into the mix cuz i dont know if ill be able keep my same sense then or because im on a coefficient of 1.21 should i put my ads multiplayer to 1 or or leave it at 0.76% cuz i like having that slight slower speed when adsing thank u for ur help i really appreciate it

    disclaimer: I am no expert lmao, but this is just my opinion
    This is a perfect video explaining everything related, and I love how well you went into things without overcomplicating it. Now although I don't have any daily problems with this, I had to replay a few parts for me to fully understand what you just said, not mainly due to the complexity of what you're saying, but the fact that there was game audio, music, and your voice playing all at the same time, making it a bit hard to focus on your narration. I loved the visual aids to help everyone, but I just felt that the audio was kind of overlayed a bit too much.

    Something else to note, Jedi mentioned that his calculation finds the least deviation for 100% distances for all points on screen, but maybe you only need it for 75%. After all, how many edge screen flick shots are you actually making? Repeat the same procedure, only use 75% of the value instead of 100%. This gives you even smaller deviation for all monitor distances in the range of 75% of monitor screen.

    • @KingDowning
      @KingDowning  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      The original idea behind the current Jedi's Trick implementation was that it does horizontal and vertical at the same time. Since you are playing with your entire monitor on at all times, I would take it that it is best to calculate this value based off of 100% of your monitor.

    Stumbled upon this setting with MW2. This needs to be revisited, such a huge setting that no one is talking about or very few understand.
    Jedi mouse trick is awesome compromise, and mathematically gets us almost there.
    I wonder if in the future a tech company like Nvidia can develop a 0 deviation coefficient with Ai correcting algorithms so that Hipfire and ADS are 100% exact at any angle or monitor distance.

    • @KingDowning

    Great informative video man!
    Query for you, with the PSA sens finder method. What determines the initial value you put in for the sens? Is it an average amoungst the pro community? Or is it the sens you currently play on within a game?

    • @KingDowning
      @KingDowning  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Good question. As far as the avg of pros method, I have done this at certain points and with certain games in my sens journey per advice of other sources and it's not a bad idea at all actually, but I would be careful not to take it any further than that or allow that value to sway your results in any way. I used that method for Valorant and it worked well, but I had to be careful not to let my favorite pro player/playstyle sway my results in any way because in the end I wanted what felt right for me in terms of aiming. I started at a 310 eDPI and over time ended up at a 258, which was much slower than what I wanted for myself going in (I wanted to emulate Sinatraa's playstyle), but over time as I lowered my sens to that value, I could feel the control I needed, and my flicks were becoming more and more precise.
      Other times I just used the default value the game gave me. Heck I even did averages of the results sometimes. In the end, don't overthink it too much as its not always going to be pinpoin accurate, and think of it more as a ballpark perimeter for you to start experimenting within.
      I hope this helps more than confuses you. I remember all of this like it was yesterday and know how crazy it can be trying to figure out where to start.

    So, does your ADS sens need to be at 1 for games like COD in order for the jedi monitor coefficient to be as effective as possible?

    • @KingDowning
      @KingDowning  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Ideally yes, but if you change the values slightly it shouldn’t be a huge problem at all because the coefficient will still be taking affect. I highly recommend getting like a month subscription of mouse-sens if you can to see the exact ADS values and then saving them somewhere for future reference.

As long as you’re getting the results in game as they play out in your mind (like turns and movement as you run thru buildings, corridors, and stairways) then there’s no reason to change anything. But if it ever begins to feel off then just take a look and see if changing your sens will helps at all. Hey dude you are pretty responsive for a content creater. So I saw you play cod. Today I saw some news that actvision finally released that they don’t want to put a fov slider in warzone on console because technical issues. With old gen. Looking at the specs it looks like it’s a ram issue. I’m not a it guy or anything I just have a crappy pc so I’ve gotten to do work on it from time to time. When I first started playing warzone I had 8 g and my game would crash stuff wouldn’t render all kinds of problems then I upgraded and it got a lot better. The way my friends talk to me about the problems there having that’s what it sounds like is happening. So I looked up specs on old gen and next gen. Series x and ps5 look really good but the series s is capped at 10 g and I believe that console will be the benchmark for next gen as Microsoft has already decreased production of series x and increased series s do to a chip shortage or something. I know this is long af comment from some random dude on the internet but I think there is a story here that a lot of people are looking for answers to. If you made it this far thanks for reading it.

      No problem this topic is mind boggling and often only gets more confusing the more you dig into it so i feel you there lol anyways the implication is that latter of your choices. The windows to in-game is something separate entirely and this moreso affects how your perception of aim changes from a hipfire perspective to an ADS perspective. I wish I could do community posts to update everyone, but I am working on an updated video and I will go into more detail on the Jedi coefficient as well. The visual representation of the jedi coeff is what helped me the most and since this video Jedi has published more information about his method and ill be sure to break that all down. so what res would i have to use on valorant for the jedi coefficient?

    • @KingDowning
      @KingDowning  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Sadly there is no setting for coefficient in Valorant, but i will say that if you select the jedi trick on the mouse-sens website it will give you the proper values for all “scopes” using that method so its integrated in a way. It sucks that valorant only gives you one ADS slider too as it would be nice to be able to input the different values for all the different scopes (ie vandal, marshal, op, etc), but currently you have to pick one and use that value for your “ads” across all scopes. I don’t play valorant too much at the moment, but i chose to match at my vandal/phantom ads value. It was either that or the op and i don’t op much and if i do i’m holding a tight peek anyways so i chose vandal/phantom ads value. Hope this makes sense and helps out a bit.

      I personally don't think translating sens' based off of FOV is that big of a deal anymore, I now just use whatever FOV I set, and then I put in my settings based off of those values. But if you have a game with a locked FOV, and you wanna see what it translates to a game with an FOV slider, then it's not a bad idea to try and either match the FOVs, or just translate the sens based off of the FOV change. I used to nitpick like "oh im using 87 fov in bf4, but 89 in 2042, so I HAVE to translate for that" but not anymore :) Hope this helps answer your question a bit!

      @@finity9316 Not really, for me it wasn't a game changer. The only difference was relearning the sens change as I noticed changing the monitor distance coefficient affects your sens speed subtly.
      Plus in my opinion, 121% MDC is not the same as 1.21.
      Hence, after bouncing around different settings, Legacy or Relative 1.78 is what feels best. I'm using Relative 1.78, for the additional flicking advantage. Not to mention quite a few top tier aimers in this game are on Rel 1.78.

    • @KingDowning
      @KingDowning  2 ปีที่แล้ว

    • @KingDowning
      @KingDowning  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@Quintbert the difference is hardly noticeable especially if you only use 1/1.25/1.5X scopes and only affects aim when you ADS. It’s more of a mathematically correct approach backed with data to show the points of alignment on a horizontal axis.
      I think you meant Monitor Distance Coefficient by MDC, and if so you are correct that MDC =/= Horizontal Monitor Distance. I address that at 3:33. However 121 Coefficient does = 1.21 in other games for example 1.21 coefficient in battlefield is the same as 121 coefficient in COD. It’s just depends on the game. Also Legacy in COD doesn’t utilize the coefficient setting at all. 1.78 is fine if you want to match your aim between scopes to the end of your screen. I find the mathematically correct coefficient to be better and I think you will see many more people switching over once this knowledge becomes more common.
