To my Indian friends, as you can see in the travel videos, Chinese don't have any hostility towards Indians, I know the border issue is a touchy subject between the two nations now, however, please remember that those issues are left behind by the British, both Chinese and Indian are ancient civilizations, for thousands of years, there were never issues between the two, until the British came along and drew lines on the map, everywhere the British drew lines they left problems behind, many of those are still hot spots in the world today. I hope the two people can find the wisdom to resolve those issues left behind by the colonists over time.

It's good to know that all these times reporting from western media about China mostly lies including two leading anti China India based media (but western owned) Wion and Firstpost. These two India based media following western mainstream media spreading anti China narratives and provoke tension with China.

this reminds me of what happened to me and my wife many years ago. we were in lijiang, yunnan. we went to the train station. i told me wife to wait for me by the entrance and i went to buy the train tickets( it had no high speed train then) when i came back to the entrance, she was already inside the station even though she didn't have a ticket. staff told me my wife walked with a cane and so they let her in without a ticket. by the time the train came, a staff helped to carry her luggage up the steep stairs to the platform and took us inside the train and showed us where to sit. when the train arrived in dali, a staff there came and led us out of the train and into the station. they helped even though we didn't ask for help. it was all because my wife walked with a cane and they saw that she had a hard time walking. i was very appreciative of the help and was deeply impressed. love from a canadian chinese.

When I first time went to China I had no WeChat, Even sometimes they did not want to accept cash. So, people paid for me. They are so helpful. Even my friend went to the wrong campus. He told the police because he don't understand how to get a taxi. Police carried him to their car and help to reach campus. I am still learning chinese. Before I thought that I move to Europe. But now I decided that I don't go to Europe or USA. China is the best country for me. Even so secure. Newyork, London at night you can't walk alone late at night. But in China, any girl can walk alone late at night.Every Aisan people need to develop their own country.

However i couldnt access my ticket since they were stored in my lost phone thankfully one of the staff in china eastern airways knew english and helped me connect with wifi and i found my tickets in the other phone. Therafter i was still worried since i had to go to hk after crossing Shenzhen. There too the police staff helped me find the trains to hk and i carried RMB back then. However they were surprised since the train ride is like 10 rmb however i had no change and there again the staff helped me to get some smaller currency notes of 5,10 and 20. The rail police staff then helped me find thr platform and the train where i would cross immigration from ahenzhen to hk. Really helpful people. No scam at all.

I agree with what you said but I find it puzzling why indians want to compete with China. Sure both countries are largely populated, founded around the same time and all, so people tend to compare them. But deep down, indians and chinese are all “coloured” people, invaded and suppressed or colonized by foreign invaders. I’d rather these two countries hold hands together and lead other developing countries and coloured people (or so called global south) to flourish, against the neocolonialism in disguise constantly imposed by the collective west, instead of competing with each others.

Wow! So surprised to see my hometown Xi'an City and its public transit system been shown in this video by an Indian youtuber. Actually, Xi'an has literally lots of history with India. 1400 years ago, Xuanzang, a Buddhist monk whose name and story are known to each and every Chinese kid, traveled from Chang'an (then-capital of China's Tang Dynasty, present-day Xi'an) to India on foot to bring over Sanskrit Buddhist texts to China. The epic journey took him 17 years! Then Xuanzang spent all his life translating those texts into Chinese and absolutely improve the connection between the two great civilizations.
To hold the sutras and figurines that were brought back by Xuanzang, the Emperor orderd to build the Giant Wild Goose Pagoda (Da Yan Ta), which is still the most significant landmark of Xi'an City today and a listed World Heritage.
So I'd like to say that Xi'an could be a symble of what we could achieve if the people of two great civilizations cooperate closely, which is also the last thing those descendants of colonists want to see.

Incredible episode Tourvashu!!! I can't tell you how super excited I am with this your China series! It has started to take off!!
Chinese people are really helpful. In spite of the language barrier, they will help you if you ask for any assistance. The lady officer is an example of someone who takes her job seriously - helping people.
As you are in Xi'an, you would obviously visit the terracotta soldiers. Also, please visit Muslim street. It's a street food paradise! Even though you do not eat non vegetarian food, you can still have a wonderful time. Most importantly, inspite of the street being choc-a-block with people crowding the stalls, the street itself is so so clean!! You can see the exact opposite of it in Delhi! Super crowded, but equally dirty!
I have travelled in all the high-speed trains in Europe and China truly, has beaten them all in ride comfort! TGV of France, vibrate so so much!! Same with German ICE!
Super excited for the next episode!!

India and China stand as the venerable pillars of ancient civilizations, evoking awe and admiration. With a mixture of astonishment and sorrow, I witness China's striking divergence from my preconceived notions. The denizens of this land exude an innate friendliness and affability, while even the governing authorities display a remarkable congeniality. I find myself perplexed by the perpetuation of a prejudiced narrative that has veiled my perception. Contrary to my initial expectations upon embarking on the exploration of this nation, China's true essence has left me in a state of intellectual bewilderment. It has been a mind-altering voyage, expanding my horizons in unimaginable ways. There is much that we, as Indians, can glean from our neighboring nation, China. The sheer magnitude of their infrastructure and the meticulousness of their maintenance projects leave us in awe. Although geographically adjacent, China bears semblance to a Western nation, beckoning us to ponder how we fell so far behind the race for progress. If we aspire to rival such colossal economies, India has an arduous path ahead. As Asians, it is incumbent upon us to learn the art of coexistence, forging bonds that will augment our significance on the global stage, which, until now, has remained dominated by Western hegemony. I extend my heartfelt gratitude to you, dear brother, for enlightening us with this dose of reality.
