I too traveled in China 25 yrs back. They don't understand English at all.. I faced lot of problems.. As a foreigner I paid 50% more but I got priority seats out of way.. China is much ahead of India..neat n clean..compared with our dirty cities n towns..

East Asian countries like China, S Korea and Japan are simply homogenized countries where most people are born speaking the same language and foreigners are far less than 1%, which make it useless to actually learn to speak and understand oral english.
