The Mojave definitely wobbles and rocks a bit more over the same things as the udr.....that being said, the udr as we've said before is all about scale realism whereas the Mojave is more about smash and bash 😊 (it did perform well though, just a different animal)
Yeah for sure. It was certainly closer than what i would have thought to be honest. Both amazing vehicles for their purpose thats for damn sure👍🏻thanks for the watch💯
To be fair, the Mojave did pretty good against the UDR; It was a much closer comparison than I thought it would be. Frankly, I would've thought the UDR would've been a lot better, but I really don't think it was. I love my Mojave; For a SCT basher, it can't be beat (IMO). However, the Maxx Slash comes close. That's why I bought one! 😉
@@techspac3 to be fair, I I haven’t had a chance to give the Maxx Slash a good bash yet. And I’ve had my Mojave for four years, and it’s been upgraded with M2C chassis and chassis braces, and HW Max8 ESC & 1650kv motor. The Mojave has been through a lot. It takes a lickin’ & keeps on tickin’. It’s one tough RC!
I really wanted to buy the UDR because I know it's a really awesome truck. But I wanted to save myself a little aggravation working on it if needed and about $150 price difference. The UDR still calls my name every time I go to the RC store, but I absolutely love my Mojave. Definitely my favorite truck.

The Mojave actually did better than i imagined with the independent suspension but UDR took the performance win. I dont have a UDR but was hoping Traxxas would come out with a 2.0 UDR before i pull the trigger on a purchase.

@@techspac3 The UDR is spot on in the suspension travel. I agree not much to upgrade on the UDR. You did alot of work on that test bed there. It worked out awesome!
Great video comparison. You have to look very closely to Ser the differences but to my eye the UDR suspension kept the body more stable in every surface. A few were a little easier to see and a few I really had to study. That, to me, is big compliment to the Mojave and also to the UDR. I really don’t bash my truck, mostly scale activities on my back yard track. Generally a foot or two of air at the most and try to keep it a realistic race machine.
UDR undoubtedly has the better suspension for this test. The Mojave is a better RC truck. The UDR is my absolute favorite truck that i don't want.
