there's a company in Denver called Left Hand Utes who import them and convert them to LHD. They're all ready to be registered in the states too because they use parts from cars available locally I think. Check them out for sure
Funny how the Hellcat over here is the "rarely seen" equivalent of the Commy SS over there, haha. If you lined them up side by side in New Zealand and asked someone to pick one, they'd probably take the "rare" american muscle over the Australian variant.
No that is a VF SS the hsv is ss and a different company partnered with Holden puts a body kit on it, better brakes, bigger engine, wheels ect and makes it in to a hsv you can google it if you want but I’m not trying to be rude
An SS with 700hp? yes please! the nimbler Chevy would slay the lard-ass Hellcat. Still can't believe the SS is being axed... people just don't know a good product anymore.
With the shit engine though, the American SS always got the LS3, only the 2016 refresh got it in Australia - prior to that it was the horribly hobbled and feeble L77, unless you bought an HSV model at a huge increase in price - so if you are paying 30K for a 2014 model you are getting a car that can get its ass handed to it by a $8,000 Nissan Stagia (and any number of other much cheaper cars).
RosenFiddlesYou I bought a g6e turbo a few years ago and tuned to 400 at the wheels, the Barra turbo is an engine Australians should be proud of. I have no idea what to buy next as the falcon will be dead by then.
Why the fuck would he convert Club sports into a maloo. Utes (Pick ups), wagons and sedans all come from the factory. And no, this vehicle is not a Chevy SS. It's a Holden Club sport.
Tasman McMillan This is a Chevy SS just with Holden badges. The SS is all we get in the US. The man in Denver converts the Chevy SS into Holden vehicles that use the same planform. Its the only legal way I am aware of where you can have a Maloo Ute in the US with a US title.
Abe Lincoln The chassis of a commodore ute is quite different to the sedan and wagon versions. A lot safer and cheaper to import one and convert. It's the same way with importing any vehicle to any country. Follow the legal requirements of your transport agency and tax department and it should be fine. People have been doing it for decades with the mustang and american ute range into australia. It's also the same in reverse.
These cars are very common in Australia where I live and they are much better that the charger hellcat. You can pick up second hand Commodores for 30k.
I love both the SS and the Hellcats, I've always had a soft spot for the SS and considered getting one. But in my opinion the chargers have WAY more road presence. To the average person this looks like a Malibu with a paint job, only car enthusiasts can appreciate the SS for how special it is. The charger is styled much more aggressively, and it has "what is that" factor. But they do have a point, you wont find an SS in a rental fleet, but i see tons of chargers in rental fleets. Either way both the Hellcats and the SS are awesome cars and I want to own both some day.
hahaha I love the way you guys are having fun in this HOLDEN COMODORE SS made in AUSTRALIA I have a earlier model also lots of fun to drive. in live in NEW ZEALAND. there are quite a few on the road here. it's always a bit of fun when other car enthusiasts want to have a play RACE at the traffic lights and see the look on there faces when you leave them in a cloud of smoke. LOVE MY HOLDEN COMODORE SS UTE. sad to see them close shop. R.I.P HOLDEN
Its originally a Holden made in Australia then usually they have a Chevy badge which looks crap and gives it a hint of cancer so people put a Holden badge on it.
In Australia, we are able to get these from the factory with an LSA and they look significantly more aggressive. We also get the ute and wagon variants. They're probably the best car the world never got to see, and we won't get to see them anymore either.
You see that's called a Holden Commodore SS where I'm from Australia and you see them over here one in every 5 cars on the road and as you mentioned in the video that they are rare in the US it's same like the Mustang or a Camaro they are very rare to see on the road in Australia too.
unless you've actually driven in both you don't know, the LSA supercharched GTS just spins up the whole time and the huracan just throws you back in your seat
I currently own a chevy cruze Ltz. I get Great has milage (of course its why i own it) i low key Love that the Interior and almost look of the body looks likeba Cruze. The ULTIMATE sleeper car i believe. The G8 was just the start of that trend 👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼🔥🔥🔥😁😁😁
Aden Molyneux-Cole the Chevrolet SS is produced in American factories with the steering wheel on the left a few design design tweaks. Also a different engine. Not a Holden. A Chevrolet.
The paint job and decals are so perfectly balanced. The creator of that has real style. It looks incredible. The wheels as well. If I lived in the states or Australia and if I had a good enough job to cover this, this would be somehwere at the top of my list. Or a 535i e60 bmw. Both manual of course.
SS is the Sexiest car that I’ve ever seen in my life look at that body shape damn pretty impressive though, Real definition of a performance sport sedan.
Really want one of these in a manual...sadly (for me) the used ones manual SS's are holding their value pretty well. WE NEED MORE PEOPLE TO BUY MANUAL FROM THE DEALER!
So its a Holden inspired car? So basically a Holden then? Will be so sad to see them gone in the next few years. Already bad enough to see the last Ford produced straight six and v8 being produced two days ago in aussie.
Can just picture a car meet with other SS enthusiasts. Must look like a hertz parking lot. For shame since it's a great car but the styling doesn't match the performance.
I rather like the understated look, I seen one on the freeway the other day and I almost forgot that's what is was. But it's a good thing, you'll roll a guy in his SN95 GT trying to pass you but you won't attract police attention. That's why I like sleepers
Well here in Australia its used more like an economy car. The SS is kinda the base model V8. If you want something sportier, you get the Commodore SS Redline or the Black Edition.
It’s a shame GM didn’t also provided you🇺🇸guy’s with the Holden🇦🇺2013/17 HSV🔥Clubsport🏁R8/Senator🏁Signature/GTS/GTS-R🏁W1 (LS7🔥LS9) Gen-F (I & II) Sedan, Sportwagon (Tourer) & Ute (Maloo) vehicles!!!?
Brocky that's like saying a GMC is a Chevy not a GMC. Yeah they're the same thing but if it's branded as a Chevy or a Holden then it's gonna be known as what it came out of the factory as.
Its all about the Chassis.... Thats where Holden put the R&D....( I believe 100's of mill ) Sedan? Yep... Wagon? Yep?...... UTE? Yep.....(just pop on the external cocoon ) Its the base.. the same base... The outlay of R&D saved money in the long run ..... Thats why it handles sooooo good... The Chassis was designed for this reason. As for the rest.... HSV. Made it even more tight and true.
As an Australian. If a guy drove a Holden commodore here in Australia with that sound coming out of it, he would be laughed at. What you need is *_twin 3" stainless engine-back exhaust system 1&3/4 headers._* Search up what's in bold italics and you mouth will water.
lmfscrew I see them all the time and never even give them a second take. I have zero desire to drive any car with shitty handling and weighs 80 thousand pounds. I like lightweight cars i can throw into corners & winding roads not boat-tank hybrids like the hellcat. I will always respect dodge for the legendary viper but i could care less for any hellcat, charger or challenger.
In Australia the commodore comes out with a v6 with base models up to luxury versions with a S pack too which has everything the SS has except a 3.6L V6 instead of a V8. There won't be any more built after 2017 because the factory was recently closed by GM and now the Commodore is made in Germany without a V8 option 😢
Yea those and the lacrosse and regal lol. pretty boring brand ! I wish Pontiac was still around too ! I was just saying it was more profitable for GM to keep buick.
Dan Sasala is it though? Slower stock, I hear the ecoboost engines arent nearly as reliable as these GM LS's, more expensive to modify, whats the advantage of the SHO?
Arent reliable? haha give me some facts about the ENGINE. After a $300 tune you are already over 400 HP. You can get a used SHO for way cheaper then an SS. And since it looks just like a Taurus its an even better sleeper.
The sho drives exactly like a big heavy sedan with 350 hp. Not even remotely as fun to drive as an ss. It's nice but somehow bigger outside but less room on the inside compared to an ss. Sounds like shit. 6 speed automatic slightly better but nothing special. Definitely not a better value. Yah you can tune but that's pretty much it. Nothing in the aftermarket besides tune and some exhaust. LS has one of the biggest aftermarket of any engine.
I was in Sydney 3 months ago and the company rented me 2016 Holden Commodore SV6 Storm (6 cylinder with GPS) from AVIS which I picked up at the airport. Contrary to what these two guys said, it felt heavy. yes it may have ~ 280 HP, 257 lb-ft of torque but on the way to Katoomba? three sisters mountain, a Ford Falcon out accelerated me on the modest uphill. In summary: heavy and lack low rpm torque.
It is based off of a lower-end vehicle though....just pointing out a mistake so no one is misinformed! The Chevrolet Impala is the base vehicle and with sufficient options chosen can be easily mistaken for an SS to the uninitiated. Loved the video otherwise! Great car, great presentation, nicely done!
Well, I ordered the 2017 SS in white without the sunroof but with the full-size spare. I thought the factory was going to offer a higher HP version but the Chevy website is showing the same 415HP, and I don't want to wait around on a 'maybe later'.
I already have my Chevy SS, it's in the shop for window tint and 3m Bra material. If I stay motivated and can swing it, I may add more power at some point.
Hello from Australia. Imagine what it would be like in a manual. We have base model SS in our work fleet, they're very very nice to drive. Very powerful as a factory car. Commodores are roomy, affordable, long lasting. My personal car is an older V6 that still burns off modern cars at the lights. When they're gone, it will be a sad day for motoring.
You guys may get the LSA version of the SS soon... here in Aussie land, the HSV R8 makes 536hp and the GTS makes 577hp from the factory. But they lose a lot of power through their heavy duty drivelines.... expect around 460whp (DynoJet) for the stock GTS
You guys should have a look at the HSV Gen f GTS. It's based of the ss but better in every way. Here in Australia they're double the price and it's definitely worth it!
good point with comparing with the hell cat I didn't think of that. This is actually a Australian design, Chevy adopted it, just saying. Its a rare gem either way
I think the owner should swap out the 6L80E for the 6L90E. Or even the Tremec 6060 manual that comes stock in the 2015 Chevy SS. The 6L80E tends to melt and fuse clutches when higher than stock horsepower and torque is applied. Even when it is modded. The boys at Circle D Specialties in Houston TX seem to be the most knowledgeable on these transmissions.
Haha In Australia Everyone puts chevy badges on Commodores its also frowned upon and now the USA puts Holden badges on chevys Haha
R.J & Co That's the circle of life. See the Altezza vs IS300
I want the Holden UTE SS-V...
there's a company in Denver called Left Hand Utes who import them and convert them to LHD. They're all ready to be registered in the states too because they use parts from cars available locally I think. Check them out for sure
John Wilson - thanks I will
only low class morons do it
In Australia you see it everywhere, everyday
Funny how the Hellcat over here is the "rarely seen" equivalent of the Commy SS over there, haha. If you lined them up side by side in New Zealand and asked someone to pick one, they'd probably take the "rare" american muscle over the Australian variant.
Yep! I'm from Auckland and pretty much any American muscle over here is anywhwre between 30 and 100k. You can pick up a mint Monaro for 20!
DV7Dave I'm from Auckland too!!
nearly as good as a Falcon FVP eh !
Terry Thomas nearly as good but not quite
HSV's are maaaaadd cars. They are the epitome of bogan transport and I love it. like this comment if you're from STRAYA or Sydney!😄
It's whatever *General Motors* says it is... : )
Yea, people buy the chargers/300c which is a V8 sedan but not this one for some reason. SS is much better than the dodge.
Anything holden, is absolute fucking shit.
Tasman McMillan yep
Your mam is absolute fucking shit m8
Kinda looks like a holden badge....
it is but it isnt a true holden a holden would be rhd
Holden is owned by GM and the SS is like the american version.
You're not even Tai Lopez....
Ty Gregg Well shit how'd you know
RIGHT HAND DRIVE you dumbnut
Taking all the chrome off this thing really helped. The lines are pretty good. No longer looks like a Malibu with a body kit. Nice car.
When you want to buy a camaro but your wife wants you to buy a family car.
Nothing wrong with that at all. Get so much sports power with a family car size I have two children so this car is a dream for me.
Well they are a family car in Australia, usually with the v6
You tried but this is a new version of a pontiac g8 gt/gxp
@@limelightriqq it’s a zeta chassis car. Same chassis as a 5th gen camaro
Rather have this over a Camaro not gonna lie
And here in Australia you can buy a used 2014 SS for about 30k
yes but 30K us is about 40k aud
yes but 30K us is about 40k aud

Only other inline 6 maker left is BMW.
Great video guys. I live in Australia so they are very common but love them.
Jaymie 5.0 yeah, you are correct. They also have them in NZ.
Jaguar F-Type r coupe fan yeah mate
People import the Holden versions to the USA Not Common but .
There is a guy in Denver who legally converts these into the Maloo/Ute. Up this comment to get the word out.
Abe Lincoln I've seen it and he does a great job. Google VF 2 Sports wagon. Another option of the Commodore.
Freaking awesome!! I wouldn't be able to get my wheelchair in through the door without wrecking the interior. Thanks Abe!
Why the fuck would he convert Club sports into a maloo. Utes (Pick ups), wagons and sedans all come from the factory. And no, this vehicle is not a Chevy SS. It's a Holden Club sport.

It's funny how the Holden wankers in Australia put Chevy badges on their Holden's and in America they put Holden badges on their Chevy ss
These cars are very common in Australia where I live and they are much better that the charger hellcat. You can pick up second hand Commodores for 30k.
Yeah but to find one with the V8 can be a pain in the arse, nearly all are V6's around my area
You must live in the middle of nowhere...
+Jake Mitsel Central Queensland might as well be haha
I'm In Midwest WA
+GT-Rrrrrrr Finding one with a manual is the tough part in the US. They all have v8's here
Pet Peave: Beige headliners in cars with black interiors
Yeah, I don't like that either. It is gray, though. One day I'll reupholster mine.
Such an awesome car! Let's get this bad boy lined up next to a hellcat
I live in Australia and I own one of them and I love it
I love both the SS and the Hellcats, I've always had a soft spot for the SS and considered getting one. But in my opinion the chargers have WAY more road presence. Love my HSV GTS with the LSA, been tracking it too!, woop woop
hahaha I love the way you guys are having fun in this HOLDEN COMODORE SS made in AUSTRALIA
I have a earlier model also lots of fun to drive.
in live in NEW ZEALAND.
there are quite a few on the road here. it's always a bit of fun when other car enthusiasts want to have a play RACE at the traffic lights and see the look on there faces when you leave them in a cloud of smoke.
LOVE MY HOLDEN COMODORE SS UTE. sad to see them close shop. R.I.P HOLDEN
I have fun with this debate too. Came with a bowtie must be a Chevy lol
It was a chevy ss he converted it to the Holden commadore
converted back to what it was you mean.
James Nunez it was a Holden commadore. Which became a Chevy. Which he then converted back to a Holden.
Every GM-H designed car should have a Holden badge on it
Man that AS sounds so good and 687 HP is dentfully a pure beast.
You see that's called a Holden Commodore SS where I'm from Australia and you see them over here one in every 5 cars on the road and as you mentioned in the video that they are rare in the US it's same like the Mustang or a Camaro they are very rare to see on the road in Australia too.
Punctuation seems to be rare too.
Update 2021 - Mustangs GTs everywhere in Oz now, see them all the time.
Props for the Holden airbag. That's dedication.
its faster than your lambo and cheaper why didn't you buy it
the huracan would smoke a commodore no matter what
unless you've actually driven in both you don't know, the LSA supercharched GTS just spins up the whole time and the huracan just throws you back in your seat
I'm a mechanic ahaha I've driven multiple GTS's and been a passenger in the huracan

Love the detail and the personal voice, entertaining and truly informative. Cut above the rest of the TH-cam auto community
It's a Holden Commodore with a supercharger :)
Maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaate!
I currently own a chevy cruze Ltz. I get Great has milage (of course its why i own it) i low key Love that the Interior and almost look of the body looks likeba Cruze. The ULTIMATE sleeper car i believe. The G8 was just the start of that trend 👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼🔥🔥🔥😁😁😁
lol, all the people saying "Er mah gerd dat is a commodore"
NO. This is a Chevy. it has a conversion kit on it. look at the last video of VV.
Aden Molyneux-Cole the Chevrolet SS is produced in American factories with the steering wheel on the left a few design design tweaks. Also a different engine. Not a Holden. A Chevrolet.
Its the same engine, and it really is the same car, that said the engine is obviously american.
Look it up, the Holden has a 6 Liter and the Chevy a 6,2 Liter.
Alexander Lemcke
Series II VF Commodore SS has the 6.2L. Regardless any engine can be swapped, its still the same car.
not made in the US, Comes off the same line in Australia as the Commodore.
That's a fucking Holden Commodore VF
*Q_Q you ever heard of re-badging*
Of course I fucking did
If you heard what they were saying, they do realise they start life as a Commodore
why do you sound surprised lol
I'm not surprised. But when I saw the title and the badge I was like: Day fack is that shait?!
SS is the Sexiest car that I’ve ever seen in my life look at that body shape damn pretty impressive though, Real definition of a performance sport sedan.
Gnysh Jaydan look at the HSV GTSR W1
Im the only who thinks that it seems like an old c class
I sound similar to the C63
It
A reliable old C class lol
Stage 0 WRX They aren't unreliable, especially the diesels
That Subaru is unreliable though lol, that turbo will not last lol
I own a 2014,Love it .A true 4 door sleeper.
I thought the point of the SS was that it;s supposed to be a sort of sleeper lol
Really want one of these in a manual...sadly (for me) the used ones manual SS's are holding their value pretty well.
WE NEED MORE PEOPLE TO BUY MANUAL FROM THE DEALER!
5:00 total eargasm
I love this car mainly because of it being uncommon and underrated
Styling cues look more like chevy cruze than anything
Adam Mullen
Probs because the Cruse is a Holden to. It's Basicly a mini me 4cyl version of the Commodore.
One of the best videos you guys have ever made!!
It's a Holden commodore ss, not a fucking Chevy
It's a Chevy with a conversion.
So its a Holden inspired car? So basically a Holden then? Will be so sad to see them gone in the next few years. Already bad enough to see the last Ford produced straight six and v8 being produced two days ago in aussie.
thanks Alex
patrick balagtas plez stawp
It's just a lhd version for America
So in love with this car
Can just picture a car meet with other SS enthusiasts. Must look like a hertz parking lot. For shame since it's a great car but the styling doesn't match the performance.
That's where the HSV GTS comes in!
I rather like the understated look, I seen one on the freeway the other day and I almost forgot that's what is was. But it's a good thing, you'll roll a guy in his SN95 GT trying to pass you but you won't attract police attention. That's why I like sleepers
yeah but for 50 grand most people want a more sporty look, something you can tell goes fast. it is a great performance car though
Well here in Australia its used more like an economy car. The SS is kinda the base model V8. If you want something sportier, you get the Commodore SS Redline or the Black Edition.
The only folks that paid the MSRP for one of these were the ones with the manual transmission. I just got my 2016 SS last week for $38500usd.
It’s a shame GM didn’t also provided you🇺🇸guy’s with the Holden🇦🇺2013/17 HSV🔥Clubsport🏁R8/Senator🏁Signature/GTS/GTS-R🏁W1 (LS7🔥LS9) Gen-F (I & II) Sedan, Sportwagon (Tourer) & Ute (Maloo) vehicles!!!?
It's a Holden not a Chevy.
it is a chevy
Brocky it's just badged as a Chevy in the us
Brocky that's like saying a GMC is a Chevy not a GMC. Yeah they're the same thing but if it's branded as a Chevy or a Holden then it's gonna be known as what it came out of the factory as.
Leois12 the car is badged as a Holden as you can see on the front bumper, it can out of the factory as a holden so why would it be a Chevrolet
Did you not watch the video bud? The guy did a conversion kit.
all them damn stickers are killing it
The paint job is garbage!!
think its a wrap
It is a wrap I consider it a paint job nonetheless!
Shimon La Hee' truuu
Other than that it's a pretty sweet car!
The Car and manufacturer is also garbage.
Its all about the Chassis.... Thats where Holden put the R&D....( I believe 100's of mill )
Sedan? Yep... Wagon? Yep?...... UTE? Yep.....(just pop on the external cocoon ) Its the base.. the same base... The outlay of R&D saved money in the long run .....
Thats why it handles sooooo good... The Chassis was designed for this reason.
As for the rest.... HSV. Made it even more tight and true.
The wrap looks like shit.
agreed
Or...or..or...does the shit look like a wrap?
As an Australian. If a guy drove a Holden commodore here in Australia with that sound coming out of it, he would be laughed at. What you need is *_twin 3" stainless engine-back exhaust system 1&3/4 headers._* Search up what's in bold italics and you mouth will water.
You lost me at its cooler than a hellcat. Hellcat has so much presence. It's just evil. The ss. Meh not even close
I always thought the hellcat looked like a hideous boat. Its such a boring car that only drives straight.
Lol you wouldn't think that way if you had ever driven one
+lmfscrew I don't own one but I was lucky enough to drive one. You're absolutely right, until you drive one you cannot say it's a boring car
no its a terribly handling car
lmfscrew I see them all the time and never even give them a second take.
Needs to get the transmission tuned. I got mine done and it changed the whole car.
Do tell kind sir I would be very interested on how and whom.....I got a 2014 that I would love to try that with
u guys really need to come to Australia if u love this car lol we have better here
It sounds like a felony! LUVVIT

Love it...carries a holden badge XD
Definitely sounds better than a hellcat lol
you can buy a supercharge ss from the factory in Australia. its called a hsv gts & you can also get it in a ute version called a hsv maloo.
i get upset when i see a car like this....aaaaaaannnddd automatic...no...just no
manual was not available that year
Ralph L
yeah but still...upsetting
I agree but it is what it is. Mine has a manual but is all stock
if given a choice i would take yours over this...for me personally its not about speed its about the experience
I purchased mine several states away sight unseen just to get a manual if that says anything
the holden hsv gts w1 comes out with an ls9 in pushing the 470kw(630 hp) the hsv gts has a lsa out of the factory puhing 435 kw (575 hp)
gts w1 is 636hp
ITS JUST A MODIFIED HOLDEN COMMODORE, ITS NOT THAT SPECIAL
Holden isn't available in the United States bro, even if it was, it would have a Chevy badge on it.
StingyVsCars
...Only in a very long straight line. The Hellcat is slow on the 1/4 mile and on a track. Get your facts straight mopar fanboy.
StingyVsCars
You shoud ask yourself the same question, do you even own a Hellcat?
StingyVsCars
But its not a Hellcat so why brag about a car that you don't own?
Get your facts straight buddy.
Even if he doesn't own a Hellcat...
his facts are straight, and they are right. Stop being biased because you don't like what the FCA is doing.
In Australia the commodore comes out with a v6 with base models up to luxury versions with a S pack too which has everything the SS has except a 3.6L V6 instead of a V8. There won't be any more built after 2017 because the factory was recently closed by GM and now the Commodore is made in Germany without a V8 option 😢
.... haha "rare with a cult following" come to new zealand, and thats the average car :/ same as skylines
good thing he's talking about America.
If every single person in New Zealand had one, and then moved to America and brought their cars, it would still be considered a cult car here.
Folopolis 4.5 million car is a cult
The Paper Ninja are skylines cheap over there ?
Be quite hard to do on nz dollar for a budget, hats off to the kiwis that do do it and hats off for an epic little clip, sounds gorgeous

Buick is huge in China

Yea those and the lacrosse and regal lol. pretty boring brand ! I wish Pontiac was still around too ! I was just saying it was more profitable for GM to keep buick.
+jake 8888 yeah, Buick got everybody's hopes up with a concept "Buick Grand National" but I guess they scrapped that idea...SMH
The vf commy is on the zeta platform . They made the camaro on the same platform so the camaro handles the same as a commy .
Better than a Hellcat? Better than a Dodge? LOL By a country mile.
Total BS - stock for stock, forget about the Hellcat. the Charger Scat Pack dogs this car.
I've seen plenty on the road, as well as a few civilian owned PPV's. Just because you don't see much of a car, doesn't mean its good or bad though...

Why do you own an R/T when you also own a Hellcat?
because the rt is a charger(daily) the hellcat is challenger on lease(only goes out side on the weekands)
R/T And Hellcat Owner Oh, so you don't actually own a Hellcat then.
I've only seen like 2 where i live in the bay area, but I am always happy to see one. its like seeing a unicorn that sounds like a Dragon haha
your very biased BC in alot of your videos you hate on Hellcat's and a hellcat looks better
The accelerating in this car sound so gooooooooood
THE SHO IS BETTER FOR THE VALUE
Dan Sasala the SHO is a WAY better car in my opinion.I had a 1995 SHO and that thing was a beast.
Still a sho is a great sleeper but not sure it's a better value than a ss, definitely not a better car.
Ive always been a fan of the SS. Its such a nice car.
Visibility is probably just OK. You need something like a Mercedes W210 or old Honda Accord to get at least good visibility.
This car did Australia proud. 👍
You guys should have a look at the HSV Gen f GTS. It's based of the ss but better in every way. Here in Australia they're double the price and it's definitely worth it!
Great video, guys! Any info on where I can find more information on how the owner changed the logo screen on the infotainment system? Thanks!
I have such a connection with these cars my family has always had one also I live in Australia.
I saw a Chevy SS on the road a couple weeks ago. Very nice!
Light, rare, special.... Are words never used to describe this car in Australia.
These are base model family sedans.
good point with comparing with the hell cat I didn't think of that. This is actually a Australian design, Chevy adopted it, just saying. Its a rare gem either way
I have auto SS 2001 ute.. I want faster acceleration and response when putting my foot down... Any ideas to increase acceleration speeds?
You can do the Holden airbag, and the Holden clusters right here in the US.
*CAN I DO THIS TO MY GRAND PRIX*
LOL that's cute.
He has a thin blue line on the back window😍😍
In australia just the supercharger is $18,000.And to buy a 2014 chevy ss ( holden commodore ss ) is over $50,000 in 2022
They come standard with LSA supercharged engine in the Vf GTS here in Australia .
Man that thing is nice need more video's of it
I think the owner should swap out the 6L80E for the 6L90E.
Been thinking about a Whipple 2.9l supercharger for my 6 speed manual... sounds like a good choice, thanks!
The commodore was great rebadged as the Pontiac G-8. Not surprised Chevy brought it back to their lineup
Parker, the 6L80 has a sport mode... They're great when theyre tuned
That's a sweet set up nice car
2017 commodore ss manual 47k aud , w547 (735hp) package costs 20kaud installed in Australia by Walkinshaw with warranty 68k aud total cost with car
