Thank you Weatherby Family, for being with us hunters for 3 generations, I'm so glad that in this world of poor quality and no traditions, you are a most valuable exception 👍 God bless
I have been debating on which new rifle to buy. After watching this video my mind is made up. I will be buying a Weatherby and not purely based on performance. Simply because of the company's public acknowledgement of Jesus Christ. There are not many large companies left that will stand proud on their beliefs. Keep strong Weatherby. Being a company who respects the hunt and hunting lifestyle, as well as the animals being hunted is commendable and respected by us who buy your product. Thank you and your company for being on the forefront of what being a hunter exemplifies. Well done young man well done indeed.

Thanks for offering left handed rifles I actually want to own. I look at it as something I can pass down and take pride in. Having a trusted companion wherever I may go.
Passion combined with an obsession for perfection is what makes me love Weatherby. So much of that is lost in businesses that only care about the bottom dollar net in our global economy. Selling for volume isn't Weatherby's platform; perfection is standard for their product line. This is why I love Weatherby and will purchase their products in the future. Great platform for customers that repeat again and again; it's called loyalty without compromise and Weatherby has a basic understanding of why their customers continually purchase their products. I love this company and what they stand for to this day. Awesome! Weatherby, keep being true to your business plan and compromise to none that oppose this valued understanding of why customers believe in purchasing from companies that care about their customers, products, and overall true blessed way of life.
Love my weatherby Mark V 340 magnum. I have been looking for my next Weatherby, and after watching this video, it will be the 6.5-300 weatherby! Keep up the legacy! Geaux Tigers!

Proud to be a part of this family and can prove it by the company swag I've bought and proudly wear! Just got my new Vortex 16x scope mounted and am looking forward to my first muley hunt this fall in SoCal.
Excellent video. I own three Weatherby's. My favorite Weatherby caliber is the 340-Weatherby Magnum. There is something special about the look, feel and results delivered down range with a Weatherby, only Weatherby owners know that feeling.

Great video of Ur story of the 6.5-300 & this hunt. I just had to have one too. So, I bought the Obsidian in 6.5-300 & 30-06 for woods hunting here in NW Louisiana on whitetails & hogs. I own a 6.5-300 WWH that my great uncle built and used to shoot 1000 yards in the 70’s in Williamsport. If I am correct that was basically a 300 Weatherby necked down to 6.5mm. I also own a 7mm-300 Weatherby that was built by my father in the late 1970’s. I love both firearms and the Weatherby cases.

I bought a new Weatherby Mark V chambered in .300 Weatherby when I was a young man in 1974. Most of my many deer and all of my eight pronghorns were bagged with the Weatherby Mark V. The 6.5/.300 Weatherby concept never occurred to me until recently learning of it as a current reality. Considering the large quantities of slow powder that I use in reloading the .300 Weatherby cartridge, the concept of necking it down to only 6.5 mm boggles my mind. I would definitely have to learn things that I do not already know to believe the concept to be viable. My impression of it is that it is an upscaled version of the old barrel burning .220 Swift blasting grains of unburned powder out the muzzle. .
@@josephmonaco4503 I am not familiar with the 222 Swift unless I have my numbers crossed up. The 220 Swift was/is a 257 Roberts necked down to .22 inches using a .224 bullet. The 220 Swift was commercially made for some years but fell out of popularity because it was radically over its bore capacity and eroded barrels very quickly. Muzzle velocities exceeded 4,000 feet per second.
Ok good things first. Well written, and excellent message. I plan to be a Weatherby owner soon. Now to the bad. There is NEVER a good time to shoot an animal on top of a hill. That was a major violation of gun safety. Specifically ... Rule Three: Be sure of your target and what it beyond it. Rule Four: Only let the muzzle cover that which you are willing to destroy. Never ever shoot an animal if you cannot see what is behind it.
Harvest? The word is shoot or kill, Adam. I have the 257 and 300 Weatherby with which I shoot and kill wild game animals. You harvest crops not animals.
It's awesome to see sucess from such good people and company. It would be just as awesome to see you take an employee with you to have a once in a lifetime experience like this.

I was really surprised to see that shot taken in a weatherby video.

Harvest? The word is shoot or kill, Adam. I have the 257 and 300 Weatherby with which I shoot and kill wild game animals. You harvest crops not animals.

This kid's constant talking ruined the video.
It's awesome to see sucess from such good people and company. It would be just as awesome to see you take an employee with you to have a once in a lifetime experience like this.
