It’s actually a VERY easy fix. You have to consider who the content is made from. In your world it might be hard. In mine it’s super easy to do. This is more for board level repair techs and that’s ok.
I’m sure it is an easy fix if you have the time, experience, knowledge, tools and parts. For me however, I might as well be slapping it with my dick cause I’d get the same result as if I actually tried to fix it the way you said. Good instructions, I’m just electronically illiterate.
This is actually a really helpful video I’m just not scared to this considering I don’t make any money to fix it I tried it myself and was successful in my repairs w no experience what so ever
It was good that you were able to fix the problem, but for sensitive electronic boards, please use a heat gun so that you don't damage the board like that.
I agree. I cringed when he did that. Why would you do that. You risk turning what could have been a super easy repair into a nightmare to fix properly.
it doesn't take an experience tech to know how to open a console it takes one that knows how to fix it which he did, however your A.D.D. didn't allow you to watch the full content or your just a 14 year-old with developmental issues
@@hctr_lus bruvh, I live in Australia and I found a place but they want to charge $300 just to fix the power supply, that’s actually dog shit, I’m gonna get it fix and I’m gonna get all my gallery and save data and buy and new one and then sell this piece of garbage to some kid or trade it in for a Xbox series x so I have both new gens.
Dont see how this is easy.. i dont have the cash to get this fixed nor do i have the resources to fix this myself. For those of you who haven't watched fully and are in the same boat i dont recommend watching the rest. This is for folks who are good at internal work

Hello! Thank you for all your work! I have same problèm on Ps5 and find the caps where the short is but before that I don’t know why as I think seeing ram being hot I think it could be the ram but that’s not so I find the caps replace and no more short anywhere but know I reassemble the ps5 before one bip and turn off now nothing when u click on the power button or even on eject button any clues ? Could be the ram because I try to reflow it I also remove one component but replace it like he is before and nothing Could you help me please ?
My 2 year old spilled water on my ps5. I didn't realize until 2 days later when my ps5 did the beep but no lights. I move the ps5 and see water under it. I peel the sides off and see water. I eventually opened it up. Thw mother board was dry. The fan had some moisture. I put it back together and still getting the beep but no lights. Any help?
What kind of psu do you use for test? Original comes with 31 amps and 12v. I have a 12v and 17 Amp. Is enough just to test if the motherboard is still OK?
Annnd thats why we use hot air stations and dont just force caps off the board and rip off the pads with force. Cringe so hard. Micro soldering is no joke and not for shaky hands.
Under what planet is this an easy fix? An easy fix is pressing the reset button. You’re trolling with that line to get views. 👎👎👎👎. Do not waste your time on this video.
Hey bud, not trying to be mean, but if you're making a repair video like this, you might want to remove all of the disassembly as it is very boring to watch. Or at least fast forward through it.
This, is gonna be called the beep of death 💀
Not an easy fix

what do you expect from someone learning at the expense of his customer's electronics by watching TH-cam videos? It is Shameful
I agree. I cringed when he did that. Why would you do that. You risk turning what could have been a super easy repair into a nightmare to fix properly.
It shows you have never opened a PS5 before, moving on to a more experienced tech but thanks for the video!

Easy for an electrical engineer maybe 😂
Anyone else jump when he ripped the pad off the board ?
😩me lol
That's like a teardown tuto, not really about the repair 😂
The screaming kids in the background, classic
The easy fix in the title is a nice little bit of comedy there
Bruh I don’t know about fixing this type of stuff, guess mines broken forever
Same

Hello, very good video, do you know the value of the capacitor that you removed from the GPU side? It would be very helpful to me

Did you add a new component or use the old one? This is literally the problem I’m having but I’m not sure on what to order
I have the same exact problem… do you use the same capacitor? Any tip?
that ripped pad ew

My power supply is showing 12V but still not turning on I'm not sure what to do next
Best fix ever, it was simple, thank you
Simple, is a hard reset….dummy
thats not a good fix m8 you bride the fuse white solder
I peep that too
so what fuse did you have to replace?
Anybody else notice him rip the pad off with the cap? Got lucky there was just a tiny spec left there bud, need to use a heat gun next time!
I saw that too😭, heat gun isn't necessary, you could melt other component, just melt both terminal with the soldering iron
Hi, How many amps you inject with the 5v to the fuse
@19:30 RIP dude just that capacitor right off the circuit board lol, you to strong my boi
What kind of psu do you use for test? Original comes with 31 amps and 12v. I have a 12v and 17 Amp. Is enough just to test if the motherboard is still OK?
My ps5 was off all day went to turn it on complied no beeps. Tried all the obvious but still nothing.
How many screws does this thing have? Joh😮
SUBSCRIBED, GREAT WORK....
Hold on! I left my degree on electrical engineering at home
I’m having the same issues. Now the problem is I don’t have a spare mother board nor the tools to fix it..
It doesnt have to be from a ps5 though if its just a cap or something you can get it anywhere
Easy fix
Where can I send mine to get it fixed I don’t know how to fix the fuse
How much will this cost for repair
I was charged like 300 and some change to fix the hdmi port when the console got dropped. So I just got a new one when I traded it in
How much does this cost to fix
Like $130 or some maybe $100
Lmao. Ripped the pad off the capacitor. You’re lucky it had a little bit of pad left to solder the cap back on 😂
Xbox one S, swap the front board and reflow the connector on the main pcb
same here, on the day ff7 came out no doubt
Fuse was there for some reason. Next time something different will blow up.
hi i have a problem it beeps but won't start i'm not smart enough to fix it so can i send it to you to fix it from finland
sorry I am not in finland
@@NewsonsElectronics I would send from Finland
@patrikylamaki4205 shipping is expensive I am sure there is a local repair shop close to you. I am currently abroad and paused repairs 😢
Easy fix….
Get’s extremely quiet at end, removes capacitor and replaced with another off screen, barely elaborates….
🙃
What is easy about the fix ?
only need to remove one cap
Do you have schematics?
😂 how not to fix anything the definitive guide.
Still looking for the easy fix💀
Bro you broke the trace 😬

How much it’s gonna cost
Can I ship mine to you to fix
So he can rip your pad off too? Lol
Please don't.
Typical geek behavior to entirely downplay a skillset and tools it takes to do something.
How is this an easy fix? 😂
It’s brutal watching you try to destroy that PS5.
Easy fix?? 🙄 I should have known, an easy fix” doesn’t take a 20+ minute video.
I tried to turn on the ps5 but there's no light.
Know the problem I m just have it
“Hmm should be an easy fix” *completely dismantles ps5*
subtitle not work please
Cool video homie but that’s not an easy fix
"Easy fix" wtf... this is the definition of not easy... haha
You destroy the board :/
How do u put volts to the fuse?
Easy fix?!?!?!?!?
