The anti-glare microscope light solution has been around for a long time. Amscope's SE400 (introduced in 2011) has a glare-avoiding gooseneck light built in. And add-on dual gooseneck lights for microscopes have been around for a very long time. All of these are anti glare solutions compared to ring lights. This in no way diminishes Alex's Channel and his amazing contributions to the field. I think it's awesome what he and his company brings to the table. But just chronologically speaking anti-glare lights for microscopes have been around for many years.

Something tells me it may be the controller on the cpu itself. Its an AMD APU so the actual display out is on the cpu die. The Panasonic chip is only used to drive (convert) some of the data signal to standard HDMI (and display port) output.
Also, faulty RAM and faulty hard storage can cause this as well (at least on PC loose or faulty ram will prevent the display from turning on even if you somehow get past bios load).
The 2 amp draw sounds like a faulty ram chip. The area where you wiped the liquid metal from **might** be the test pad area for the ram chips (difficult to tell because not everything was in view)

Q = mc∆t. The mass matters when transferring heat, indeed. But also the delta temperature matters. So, 20,000 degrees difference can compensate a lighter mass 😊

I am in complete agreement with your statement. From my perspective, it appears that you were among the first, if not the very first, to introduce and promote the concept of anti-glare lighting in your industry. Unless someone can provide evidence of an earlier video discussing the same topic and its properties, the answer seems quite straightforward. Although you may not be pursuing patents for these ideas, the significance lies in recognition, and without a doubt, you have earned it.
It's genuinely remarkable that no one else in the field seems to be addressing the glare issue. Whenever I conduct a Google search or seek solutions on TH-cam, your channel consistently emerges as the go-to source for guidance on this matter.
As previously mentioned, your contribution to the field holds immeasurable value. While I invest just a few minutes in composing these messages, you have dedicated countless years to consistently sharing your expertise, much like an exceptional educator.
I want to emphasize that our discussion pertains to the TH-cam channel, Northridge Fix, which also operates a microsoldering repair business and has recently posted a video on anti-glare lighting. Your insights and dedication are truly commendable, and I am honored to engage in this conversation.

You can use Isopropyl Alcohol or you can use MBC(mother board cleaner if Isopropyl Alcohol isn't available. I mentioned second item because in some countries you can't get Isopropyl Alcohol with ease).
