Some foods taste too salty or sweet for me, since I had to give them up, due9 to my health! I live in Washington state, in the town of Ravensdale with 2500 people, 5 minutes from a town with 25,000 people. Make sure you have good access to transportation, like busses, light rail, park and rides. Because of Covid, they canceled our good bus route and b ever restarted it, so it took my daughter two hours to get downtown, then often 2 to 4 hours to get home( due to cancelations). I grew up in the Central Area, which has become quite gentrified.
Min is so cute, it's so fun to see him enjoying America and hearing his first impressions. I'm glad he has you, Jae, to be his lawfully wedded guide. He could not be in better hands. Chick-fil-A should give you guys some add money. If I hadn't eaten an hour before I would have been on the phone with Doordash so fast.

Chick-fil-A sauce and their Barbeque is my crack. I buy the big bottles from the Grocery store so I never run out. I'm SO HAPPY for you both....that Min is experiencing America and Jae got to come back to the US. 🎉 It must be so different. I’m a retired Special Needs Consultant/Teacher. Took regular education students to Korea in the late 80’s on a field trip and became enamored with the country, it’s culture and the delicious foods…( we eat Kimchi daily.)
Two years ago I fell upon a Korean Drama during a traumatic loss of my only sibling (I continue mourn her daily as we were such endearing siblings).
I’ve been venturing outside of the dramas and enjoying the variety shows, modern home architecture/engineering with the importance of building with the ecosystem.
Last year I met a wonderful family man who’s Korean (his wife is Caucasian with 3 beautiful young girls). You both remind me of my new adopted children; I am their newest ‘grandmother’
I am learning bits and pieces of Korean words which my adopted son helps me with; I also keep up with Korean singers which is a great way to learn a language!
I have 2 grown sons who have opted to be bachelors; my eldest lives in Washington state and my youngest is here.

I do the samething when I’m eating the fries! But I tend to dip mine in the bbq sauce! I get the grilled chicken and use honey mustard! I do like their honey bbq sauce they use for the grilled chicken sandwich! But when I get the spicy chicken sandwich I ask for their ranch sauce lol

He will enjoy New York and California , it’s more up his Alley. Fast food is not the way to go. Introduce him to great restaurants here in the USA. I don’t know where you guys are at but I a pretty sure there are great non commercialized restaurants in the area. Take him to fun interactive museums.

Welcome! I'm probably one of the few who do not enjoy Chick Fil a because it is too salty for me. Come to think of it, I can't eat a lot of fast food because of high sodium so I tend to cook my own meals or make healthy choices outside. Anyways hope you find the perfect place for you to settle down. Be safe.
