Looks wonderful. I was really hopeful but then really disappointed because it doesn't work for thin hair. That model doesn't actually have thin hair. I wish someone would really understand what thin fine hair really means.
I have really thick hair, and it usually makes styling difficult, Hopefully these will work out. Thanks for letting me try these!!
Thin and fine are two completely different things.
For example, I have extremely fine hair but it's not thinning too badly considering that I'm 49 next month. A person could have thick (not fine) hair and it could be thinning.
The trick is "dry shampoo"
@@TreasureForeverOfficial The secret to lush, thick, flowy hair are genes. Genes and nothing else. If your genes are good your hair is good. If your genes do not support nice hair you will never get it, not matter what you do. Accepting this will help to feel better about your hair.
Eating healthy etc will, of course, ensure that your hair is the best it CAN be. But somebody who doesn't have a lot of hair will never magically grow more hair folicles. That simply won't happen.
I think most peps (MOST not actual termonology but atleast this video seems to follow it) think it like that:

thin beeing the opposite of how FULL your hair is not the individuel strain!
So saying thinning as in less full. Quantity.
While fine hair is the idividual strain beeing very ''thin''. Quality you could say.
We can see the maniquan NOT having ''alot of'' / full hair but the individual looked like horse hair! Gurl thats THICK!
So thin BUT thick.
So we have ''thin/fine'' and ''full/thick'' as opposites.
That "thin" hair mannequin still has hair twice as thick as I do. 😞 Beautiful job though!

This is only helpful if your hair has a similar texture to the mannequin's. Mine is limp and thin, with or without product. There'd be massive separation in the bun.
try rusk hairt texturizer..when used sparingly on fine thin hair it gives it enough texture to manage some of these buns
Salt spray, mousse or hairspray would help
Unfortunately that's polyester hair.

No way real hair will hold it without a ton of hairspray
@@bambinaforever1402 depends on the texture- my hair is thin but its quite frizzy and fluffy so This would work without hairspray
If the hair is very smooth and naturally straight then yes you would need hairspray

Thank god this popped up on my Pinterest feed. I already have thin hair naturally, but I’ve developed a bald spot on the back of my head so to stress and having to wear my hair up constantly since I work in the restaurant industry. This is a godsend and a life saver
@s m unfortunately that’s how it started, I’ve been wearing it in a military style bun to kind of help it but it’s so large and taking forever to grow back.

На куклах получается красиво....но....у людей не у всех волосы такие Густые.у кукл текстура волос синтетика поэтому прически стоят а у людей волосы скользкие..чтобы прическа держалась надо целый флокон лака брызнуть вот так

For thin hair start using collagen supplements. Hair will start growing back. My hair started thinning due to my old age but now I have hair back I kind of not used to it. I am not complaining but it was bothering me before I got used to it.

Mannequin hair and the way it’s put on the head is much more dense than human hair that’s why the hairstyles look so great on the mannequins and when we try them they flop. 😉

Even the first hairstyle, it's clear that the hair on the dummy head has something in it to give texture... how can I reproduce this on my fine, straight hair? Product recommendations? There has to be something that causes it to pouf out, not flop down.

My hair is thin and fine and it won’t puff out like your manikin does. I’ll give them a try though but doubt that they’ll look very much like your example.

Interesting. And pretty..... but not for thin hair!! So for now I will just continue doing a ponytail on the front/top half, hairband the whole thing together at the nape, 2 scrunchies, roll it up on itself and secure it with a pretty elastic double comb. 😏
If you already have thin hair why would you put tight things on it to thin it out more bands are the last thing people with thin hair should be using.
One day people will learn what thin hair is, but it is not this day.

This is incredible and beautiful! I know mannequin hair is a lot easier to "manouvre", so here's a tip i (accidentally) found out (bcs i couldn't find my baby powder, the result turned out surprisingly different);
*use a salicyl powder* on your hair and brush it until it's no longer that visible. This will give the "grip" you need.
