- Welcome to Twin Elm Farms! On this channel we show what its like to farm in southern Manitoba, Canada. The farm consists of Kendal, wife Lindsay their kids Hayley, Parker, Jaxon and Brock. Kendal's older brother Darryl, wife Heather, their kids Mackenzie, Dylan, Quin and Ryenne. With our right hand man Pieter. We have other part time help throughout the season, Arch (combine operator) Terry (field work) and Rob (cattle help). We crop corn, soybeans, wheat, oats and canola. We have a cow/calf operation of mostly Simmental and Shorthorn with some other breeds in the mix. Hope you enjoy our content, please subscribe, give it a thumbs up and love hearing comments.
I hope her 2nd calf makes it 🤞🤞🤞 so glad you checked her again!
Wow. Hopefully the little one survives. Well done under such pressure. And you even filmed it, thanks for sharing
Wow, crazy is a understatement, you almost need another someone with you, with a full barn and shit hitting the fan, you did great under all that pressure
What a crazy night, so pleased the crazy cow got a calf to love in the end ❤
OMG what a great video, I am exhausted just watching you. Amazing job. 👍
Thank you for the video. You guys do a fantastic job taking care of your animals and your videos are very informative
Fantastic. Wow. Got a little Western. 😊😊
Wow! Thanks for videoing all of the craziness. Good job!
Wow... I was stressed watching that... I can't imagine how stressful it was for you. You did amazing!
That was crazy! At least the first momma you pulled, she was quiet and cooperative.
What a night shift. Those mamas are protective for sure. Maternal instincts are strong. Glad you are safe.
I learned so much based on your experience. Thank you!
You handled that craziness very well. Your compassion for your animals shine’s through, get some rest while you can.
Amazing grace under pressure! You made it look easy. Glad the second was alive, hopefully it makes it.
Great video
First time I have seen so beautiful shelter for cows❤
good job!!
That was insane and more than a little scary at times. You handle the stress remarkably! I hope for everyone’s sake the one twin makes it.
That's one crazy cow she probably a good mom .
Wow---what a video. Hope the little twin makes it and you get some rest.
Really appreciate the job you do. Well done 👍
Fabulous job Kendall!
Wow! What a night! Kendal, you did a commendable job dealing with the stress of such a difficult situation. I used to raise Charolais beef cattle, and I know what it's like to have to deal with cows that at times can get a little crazy. Good luck with all of the new additions to your herd!!
Well done!! 👍 Enjoyed!!
No doubt, you absolutely know what you are doing! Amazing!
Enjoy watching yo and you had quite the night I agree that you handled that very well you have to keep your head on straight and on a swivel also !
Wow!!! Well done, Kendall!!
Most exciting video!! Thanks for filming that entire rodeo. Good job!!
Cattle are all different just like people everyone is different keep up the awesome job great great videos your hard work seems to be paying off greatly
Awesome job
Watching from what is a relatively balmy 3.5 oC in Ireland & admire the work you do with your calving season. Learning a lot, and very grateful for the videos you share- eagerly awaiting each next video. Stay safe
Wild night for sure! Good job.
What a night!
Wow…that was very exciting. You managed it perfectly and got great video.
I think that’s the craziest cow I’ve seen on your channel. Hormones in full flight.
You’ve earned a big breakfast and some sleep!
Good work!
Great job really showing how dangerous it is working cows and calves I remember an old trick with crazy cows. Use the water bag to make her follow into the crush to distract from calf
Thank you for the video. You guys do a fantastic job taking care of your and your videos are very informative
Wow those cows were going crazy. I think you did a great job you kept your cool and you got it done without getting hurt. Thanks for sharing this with us.
Wow!!!!!
Great video I didn't see the cats making you nuts but I'll take your word for it lol
Great job!!
Kendal, you did an amazing job, under somewhat difficult circumstances, of helping those moms deliver their calves. So glad that mom who had twins got at least one of them to love on and look after. I sure hope it thrives. Just curious, what sex were the latest twins?
You need to wake Darrell or the boys dont get hurt my man
Gosh, I really worry about you getting tossed by one of those crazy cows. I'm glad you made it though and that 2nd twin made it to hopefully make that cow a little less freaked out. Take care of yourself.
The calf you just pulled is a stunner and most likely a keeper.
Oh man 2 crazy cows!!!!!! I know how cows get crazy when a baby is concerned….When I was a kid…I had my 2 front knocked loose because of a crazy cow… Stay safe!!!
Nice job noting like crazy cows
Thanks for sharing what a crazy night for sure! What sex where the twins? Hopefully the one lives❤
Hello, breed a long-horned cow, this cow is a good breed
I think you’ve used your maternity pen more than I’ve used mine in my whole lifetime. Sorry to say..
It's better to help than end up with a dead calf. Sorry you don't agree, but they are his cattle, not yours. Maybe you were luckier ❤
You needed more hands as well as more pens!!
I think id look at adiffernt bull all that pulling you do the must have big front shoulders or your feeding and the calf are to big
