What is he talking about? I've seen Giannis go back to the basket so many times and almost always results in a dunk, so just because he doesn't have some signature back to the basket move like Mchale does doesn't mean he doesn't have it.
For real. Giannis' post-game has improved so much but people don't always notice because he's athletic enough to do whatever he wants on the court. Not saying Giannis is as technically skilled back to the basket as McHale, but it's not like he can't dominate there.
Bro, go watch some Kevin Mchale games from the late 80's...his footwork is in another stratosphere as Giannis. He doesn't have the kind of crafty game that McHale had. He's just a brute that gets to the basket.
@@ronniekregar3482 Who cares about who's more crafty and all that? What matters is getting to the basket and Giannis is as good as anybody at doing that from the post and it doesn't matter how you do it or how fancy it looks to your eyes.

@@sac1211 I mean you can be salty all you wanna be but the only player that has accomplished more than him at his position is Duncan. That’s just a fact.
One thing about SAS that I've noticed is when it comes to basketball, his knowledge and commentary is inclusively based on facts in a specific era. It's like basketball didn't exist past the 80s. Elvin Hayes made a living playing with his back to the basket. He had the best turnaround jumper in the game and for his career 27,000 pts., 21 and 12.5 avg.
As far as I’m concerned Giannis has already jumped some of those guys mentioned. Garnet and Barkley are legends, I got Giannis over both of them. Old heads will be mad but it’s the truth and he wins another chip, he’ll be above Dirk and Karl Malone too
He gets another title then we start mentioning him with the other greats like Bird and Magic. The conversation about him being the best player in the league now becomes even more solidified.
Duncan was primarily a center. He only gets called a PF cuz he started his career there with Robinson at center. But for 13 years after Robinson retired he played center. And even the 6 years with Robinson he played 15 minutes a night at center cuz he was averaging 40mpg and Robinson was averaging 25mpg. Duncan was a center. A 7 footer, who played center the vast majority of his career
He already has a case as the number 2 PF of all time without a second ring. With a second one there isnt even a debate.. Still ways to go to catch up the Big Fundamental
Giannis is a top 5 PF of all time and a top 20 player of all time already. Another ring and FMVP he’s arguably top 10 given what his resume already looks like
I can only say that I have never and ever seen a player who raised his level of play from nothing to being compared to the best of all time like GREEK FREAK
If Giannis repeat, this year and three-peat next year, Giannis will "enter" the Goat conversation. Not yet the consensus Goat like MJ , but will "Enter" the goat conversation just like Lebron is now.

Giannis is so talented. I have been lucky to get to watch him play live. If you ever get the chance do it. He doesn't take any plays off. I got to go to a thunder game During Westbrook mvp season. I got to see Ja play this year In Memphis. These types of players is what Kobe and AI represented for me when I was a kid. Giannis might be the best weekside & pick and roll defender ln history. He average 22 9 5 for a career and he is only 27.
He’s a better defender than anyone on that list and he has a great post up game now as well that turn around jumper. Dude is lining up his resume with Jordan right now it’s crazy that he doesn’t get the hype he deserves

Giannis will eventually get those, but as far as an overall player, Giannis is more impactful on both ends, he's the better player.
For me, Giannis is already a top 5 PF of all time: 1. Duncan 2. KG 3. Dirk 4. Malone 5. Giannis But for sure, if the Bucks win another championship, he is number 2
The only thing the other 3 have iver him is more all star appearances which is more years played in the league everything else he either has or more of at 27 so he already top 2 pf
Another title means Giannis is on route to be the “goat” of the 2020s. Im not calling him the greatest player of all time don’t get me wrong, what i mean is this. Majority can agree that MJ was the “goat” of the 90s, he dominated that era. Kobe was the “goat” of the 2000s, he dominated that era. Lebron was the “goat” of the 2010s, he dominated that era. If Giannis wins another title he will be on his way to make the 2020s era his.
Completely agree with this take. Also if Giannis can go 4-0 in finals, win 4 FMVP, 4 MVPs and keep playing like this for 5-7 more years we will need to put him on the Mount Rushmore of the NBA
@@2PunchMid Giannis was awarded that MVP & DPOY in September of 2020, so therefore you can make the argument that those awards constitute the 2020’s decade more than any other turn-of-the-decade accolade My point was that if you include the second half of the 19-20 season as a part of the 20s decade, Giannis will have already accumulated a near insurmountable head start in the race for player of the decade considering he’s only just entering his peak
to me he's 1 cos individually he's better than duncan, duncan played in great system with two all stars, he's not half the player Giannis is, duncan has no mvp's no defensive players reward, no finals mvps its not even a conversation to me.
Let’s be clear, U can make a great argument for Giannis as the 2nd greatest PF rn. Him, Dirk and KG top 4. Giannis is clearly greater than Barkley and Malone💯
Giannis is already more accomplished than everyone named besides TD, talent wise only TD and KG can say they on Giannis level or better and Giannis is only 27….also why is Steven A all of a sudden creating the separate category of “back to the basket PF” like dude will say anything to discredit Giannis
There are a few things I heard from the top 75 team. I watched a video from a fan that said when Giannis said he wanted to be Iverson when he was younger and Lebron got mad? Also, does anyone have or know video when Giannis met Jordan? I was surprised Giannis was in the inner circle standing on that podium?
If we’re gonna be real, Giannis has to the potential to reach GOAT status if he keeps stacking up accolades. Another championship with a Finals MVP, u can’t put many ahead of him already at 27

@Keandré Sutton It's debatable right now already, honestly. I mean KD would probably still be ringless if he hadn't gone to GSW. If Giannis makes that same move to GSW, he'd have 3 rings or even more by now. If those are the only 2 rings KD ever wins by the end of his career, it would be a bad look, it's like if Kobe couldn't win without Shaq or LeBron couldn't win after Miami.
KD sacrificed his legacy for those rings in Golden State. I don't care about his "bag" I don't care about how much of a "hooper" he is. If Giannis gets another chip he's over KD for sure.
It's wild to say it but even this praise is selling Giannis short. Add everything they said to his DPOY and potential to win another this year, Giannis will be no less than top 15 all time.
I like Giannis , Curry , Harden & Kawhi but they can’t be the goat just strictly because of there slow starts it took them about 3- 4 years to become Legit all stars. The Lebron/Kobe/Jordan’s made a instant impact on the league from day one. People under estimate that fact a lot.

Steven A only care abt is big market teams.
Greek wasn't supposed to win last year it was designed for Nets because of the roster
I have to Agree with Perk as well. I was very hesitant to this question but from my view with Giannis and what KP said It’s hard to disagree💯
He will pass Kevin Durant all time too, already...rings would be worth much more, already more season MVPs and at a younger age
They only talk about Greek when it comes to championships but it's a team sport..
Sixers got better Nets got deeper Celtics got better an other teams. Bucks not doin enough to help Greek at the guard position. They need more pieces at guard to repeat. Repeating is way harder in this era than Jordan era. Stars flip flop to different teams every year lol
He not better than dirk or kg either I would put giannis 4th
He still got a lot of years to go, When it’s all set and done at the position not the player altogether but if we’re talking just Power Forwards when Giannis career is over its most likely he will surpass guys at that PF position
In terms of resume, he's on par with both of them. I mean sure he has less all star selections because he has played fewer years but he also has one more season mvp than both of them and one more fvmp than KG. He's right there neck and neck with those guys right now and he's only 27 years old being stacked against their entire careers.
*He’s one of 9 players to win at least 2 MVPs and 1 Finals MVP*
5 MVPs + 6 FMVPs - Jordan
4 MVPs + 4 FMVPs - LeBron

2 MVPs + 3 FMVPs - Duncan
4 MVPs + 1 FMVP - Wilt
3 MVPs + 1 FMVP - Moses Malone
2 MVPs + 1 FMVP - Giannis
- Steph Curry should’ve won 2015 tbh to be on the list
- Bob Pettit would be on the list if the award had been recorded and being the only player to have beaten Bi11 in the Finals
- Bi11 Russell would’ve had multiple had it been recorded but Finals MVP is named after him so it’s all good.
*Heres some notable players that came up short*
1 MVP + 3 FMVPs - Shaq
1 MVP + 2 FMVPs - Kobe
1 MVP + 2 FMVPs - Durant
1 MVP + 2 FMVPs - Hakeem
