    Segment from the program Muscular, Skeletal, and Integumentary Systems: Defining Our Form
    DVD Description
    Begins by introducing the dermis and epidermis of the skin; the sweat and sebaceous glands; and the skins role in protecting against microbial invasion, ultra-violet radiation and in producing vitamin D. The program then looks in-depth at the structure and function of skeletal, cardiac and smooth muscle before looking at the structure of cartilage and bone and the skeletal systems role in protecting vital organs, producing blood cells, storing nutrients and in conjunction with the muscular system, producing movement.

    You'd only need to watch this once, taking thorough notes as you go, to gather a good grounding in skeletal muscle anatomy. Then maybe watch it another few times (all of 3:34 min each time) to ensure that your understanding is watertight. Vids like this should be mandatory viewing for any student of anatomy. This would sure beat the hell out of relying on textbooks alone

    Why is the music like from a friggin' horror film! crikey! super uncomfortable. This study malarkey is heavy enough without all that shit. Maybe some lighter music would help or none at all.

    the tropomyosin and troponin are the accessory proteins in the thin filament, right?

      @Yerfdog1 4 ปีที่แล้ว

    why such a short documentary? I want to hear about the fuids that surround the muscles and the optimal medium in which these cells are bathed. I want to hear about optimal conductivity. So far I have not seen or read this from any SOURCE.
