- Took out an old friend for a round of night shooting.
I walk around Harajuku with the Olympus 35 RC mounted to a tripod and take some long exposure shots of the famous neighborhood.

Thanks again for watching!
Wonderful video, and photos! Also really dig the music. Those starbursts on the lights are indeed pleasing.
Thank you! I like your new vids also! Yeah the stars are cool, I honestly think they carry some of the images haha.
Great video. You've inspired me to get my Oly 35RC out of the cupboard again
Thank you! These are the kinds of things I wanna hear!
Very good and interesting video, thank you! I love this old rangefinders and i'll buy one too.
Thanks! Yeah the Olympus is a great option if you are looking for something that is very small with a nice lens!
Good Video, as love the music especially the beginning of the film with a Piano theme, Yes I too have 2 of the 35RC's as you did not mentioned the Flash Auto Guide Number feature, But without a battery that the camera will set the aperture on the button when using flash, again very good video, MORE MORE.... Well Done...
Thank you! It's been a while since a video but more are on the way!
Loved the video and the photos. My usual walking route includes Yoyogi...as well as Shinjuku, Nishi-Shinjuku and Tomigaya. Great places to shoot...and you do it well every time.❤️
Well done, very good night shots!!!!!
Thank you!
Lovely video as always! I'm jealous of the manual controls on the RC, have missed a few shots because the DC thought I didn't have enough light. (It does have that sweet 1.7 lens though)
Thank you! Yeah I'd love to try out a RD sometime, but they seem on the rare side even around here.
I used to own an SP, but it was a bit bigger and heavier, and I didn't like how the strap lugs face forward. The camera tilts backwards pretty heavily. Don't know if it's the same dimensions with the RD but I imagine it's bigger than the RC and DC.
Great video and photos 👍 😊
Thank you!
very good long exposure!
Thank you!
hi there. what film did you use with the 35 RC
Nice video! Have never thought of using mine for night photos, will have to try some now, thanks. How did you meter for the exposures?
Thanks! I use a phone meter app, its not the best but it gets by. I also guess a lot but I wouldn't recommend that so much haha, especially now with the film prices what they are.
@@CLOCKCOUNTRY thanks very much!!! Whatever works is good.
@@russellyoung2852 Thats kinda how I roll! :)
Hi there! Greta Video! What film did you shoot with?
Thank you! Portra 400.
Hi I'm a newbie at Film cameras. Do you have any tips on shooting at night?
Shoot on a tri-pod and try to meeter accordingly. That said I just use a free metering app on my phone. I think the biggest tip I can give is just give it a try and see how it goes!
@@CLOCKCOUNTRY Thanks I’ll definitely work on it!
What is the one attaching the shutter?
Thanks for commenting! That is a cable release. It helps to keep the camera from shaking or moving when shooting low speeds like on a tri-pod. It's a great little tool!
@@CLOCKCOUNTRY thank you for responding. any cable release will work for that camera?
@@jedirieza2371 Most screw in ones will. I bought this one for $3 at a local camera shop.
@@CLOCKCOUNTRY i see. Okay ill try to find one here when i get mine.
