Yeah there's a big difference when you're swinging a golf club versus squeezing a trigger. Strength training for trap or skeet shooting come on dude give me a break
Just starting shooting myself and I need to work out some of my muscles in my back...good fitness is good for any activity. It's not the pulling the trigger...its holding a long relatively heavy shotgun...swinging it...over and over again. The gun is heavier than a club.
@@debd7631 after a couple boxes of shells, my supporting arm starts to be significantly less stable, I found this video looking for more stamina in my left arm
@@hendog5396 yep...that supporting arm gets to feeling like a noodle after awhile. At first I could only manage around 100 shells, as I got stronger I could shoot 150, and then 200. Even then a 2 day shoot of 400 rounds total is an endurance challenge.
I am a fan or this channel and of clay shooting but this looks very pointless in my opinion , maybe im wromg but i think its over kill doing a shooters gym workout
Having shot a round of 100 Skeet after a 2 year break my muscles ached like hell. Physical preconditioning would have saved days of pain and discomfort.
1:50 great trigger finger discipline, fuck stain 🤦♂️
I've been asked about fitness for marksmanship, I'm interested now.
I guess Mr digweed gets on fine without the gym !
I guess so look at him
Interesting video nice one!
