I like that he added his own special touches and ignored some of the more obvious things that Christie wrote. He certainly created his own version of the character of Poirot. He's not really like the books, but he is so wonderful to watch!
It takes passion, sensitivity, and intelligence as well as talent to be great character actor, and Mr. Suchet is without doubt one of the best. Thank you for bring Poirot to life.

I like the fact that Poirot never gives up on a case. In every episode I enjoy the dynamics between himself, Captain Hastings and Miss Lemon and I love that he's organised and obsessed with being clean and tidy because you don't often see that nowadays.
I used to watch Poirot growing up in the 90s on Iranian state TV (oddly enough). His dark mustache, thick eyebrows and kind demeanor always made me think of him as an uncle I never had. :)

Bach on a pipe organ to hearing J.S. Bach being whistled by someone. The twenty-five years Suchet spent portraying Poirot is as close as an actor on television has ever come to creating a work of Art. Have a safe and interesting year - best wishes from Vermont. 🐧

poirot with this guy was a brilliant tv series forever ....i can see it several times....in iran we saw all of this series with a very high quality doublage and i love that...i remembered when iran tv started to show it i was a student and today my son is student but i love this guy forever...thank you for the great job david...

He is amazing! How can he distinguish accents like that? I've been living in France for the second part of my life, and I'm incapable of distinguishing the accents of different parts of France or of french speaking belgians and swiss. The only accents I can distinguish (becase they are very strong) are the southern accent and the Quebec's accent.
One can't be sure of what the court would have decided. "Where there's life, there's hope" - as they say. Magdala "Nick" Buckley, her name was, if anyone's interested.

That is his moral compass! Remember, back then if you were found guilty of murder you were hanged. Hanged in public. Letting someone choose the way they die to atone for their sins and giving them at least a somewhat dignified death is, indeed, moral.
