Nick, I bought your bundled package but was hoping this video would be part of it, unfortunately on SSO Teachable, there is no real search function. Could you potentially tell me which video in the Affinity video set has this specific video in it please?
I've done all the steps and it looks as if the background is gone, but after i export as a png, and open it in anothe file it still has a white background and not transparent. In the document it looks transparent. I dont know what i did wrong. Please help... Affinity 2
Gee could you have used an easier photo for your how too? Maybe a triangle would have been easier? This is a fail. No one struggles with this simple of an image. Find one with hair and fine details and do that.

It doesn't matter what I do - the background won't delete. I can select it all day long. Pressed delete. Nothing. Pressed edit --> cut nothing. Absolutely nothing works. I have no fucking clue why but I have now wasted over an hour of my fucking life trying to delete a plain white background that won't go away. I'm so infuriated.
I love how you can do all of this right in Designer.

Thanks. Good tip on needing to work with PNG. I was trying to remove the background from a PDF at first. Pretty simple once I converted to PNG.

Which one is better, using the pixel persona or using the Pen tool to remove background?
It depends on the subject. The Pen Tool gives clean hard edges but the Pixel Persona is better for more complex areas like hair.
