@@Nick-ck5mk I've got a 305 with 350k still pulls fullsize trucks on my trailer @70 and my first car was a 83 Impala with a 305 that my 15 yr old self couldn't kill and the only other thing that withstood that was Toyota pickups from the 70s so that says something 305 was a long lasting motor with good mpg I don't care what you say

Longevity
Even chevy guys admit the 305 is junk there are plenty of engines that last a long time that don't use a maxi pad as a logo
