They're preinstalled at factory. I think you can buy upgrade kits on ebay. However, I don't think they're worth it. They're pretty much a standalone. Just go buy a modern GPS, garmin is still a good brand.
Which garmin model did you use? Can you give information about system please? I have sx4 and I want to try this.
The one installed is a garmin 750. However, you're better off buying a standalone.
