How do you charge this device, i live in mumbai, and love travelling to long distances. What if the battery gets low, is there a way to charge inside the car? And how long is the battery life, if its charged to full. Can it guide you for 100km journeys without a shutdown ?
Screen indicated battery low, then turned off. If the battery is low and I use the in car charger (cigarette lighter) should this recharge the battery. Is there another way?
My gps will not fully calculate. Recently purchased and when putting in long range destination gets to 91% and starts again. HELP we are on the road NOW!
This part is obvious. My GPS is insisting that I live in Chicago. How do you just set it up in the first place. No one has made a video on that. All the tutorials are like "Type in your destination and the GPS will show you the way". No duh, guys.
Wow tried useing the Google maps on my in dash navigation chevrolet Malibu .. I was like wtf?!.. I can't use this!.. Going back to my micky mouse Garmin nuvi.. All my nuvi needs is Crocodile Dundee pointing where I need to go.. Big time Walter that's me.. More micky mouse the better.. Going back to what works!.. 🤣
I think garmin will no longer survive since the android mobile can do gps with google map. On the same time garmin do not perform well. I saw my friend sony xperia z do the navigation with google map, it was excellent. the google map have better map dan garmin. and event you can create routes from google earth and transfer to it. I have 2 garmin currently both garmin do not support importing routes from basecamp which is one of the very important tools for adventures.
If you plan on updating your Garmin on Windows 10 or 8.1, better find another navigator. Garmin Nuvi NOT update on windows 10 or 8.1. I'm not the only one. it's a joke. never gonna happen. detects then it doesn't detect. detects, and then it doesn't detect. 2nd Nuvi and they just don't update. Stay away from Garmin! You've been warned.

I have one just like this. Actually, I've had three of them. They're a godsend. They help me find my way aound wherever I want to go.

set up your home address in the home feature using your city, state and zip to give the gps a point of reference.
