just bought this laptop and i am amazed, everything worlks so smooth, though i agree it heats up but i bought a cooling pad and it works flawlessly, you can see 5-6degree celsius drop, which is enough.

I have Tuf A15 2020 variant with 3050, it wasn't even 1 year to the laptop and i had to replace the display due to dead pixels. Later that month my GPU had some issues it wouldn't show for some reason and fan stopped working. It was a 80k laptop and i faced so many issues.

I m using this same laptop from some time and it is is really worth to Buy in this price range, when using with cooling pad max cpu temp i see after 2 to 3 hours of gaming is 92 degree (note no ac in my room) ,no throttling

I just bought this laptop 2 weeks ago. Its a great one just few things i want to tell, dont use optimised mode in the armoury crate, it disabled the gpu when i didn't want it to, then i had to reset it and it stopped detecting gpu at all, i called asus on-site service, asus service is really hell, it delays it so much, my first complaint was on 13th August, and my issue was resolved on 24th August after i complained 5 times.
Its all my personal experience, service may be better in your city, but i did face some driver issues.
As of now, its really working great. I am totally satisfied
The same issue happened with me when I put it on the optimised mode. Firstly I didn't pay any attention at it but on the next day I Played a game and it was very lagging, felt something was wrong, literally i cried that day I thought I blew up my GPU. Then I checked for the display device it was just showing the AMD CPU. Then I finally called my father where he said don't worry beta the drivers of the gup are missing. And then I installed the drivers from the nvidea web page. That was the day when I literally cried that I have burst my GPU. Just middle class thing 🥺❤️

@@053_eshan9 first dont reset your pc in panic, thats what I did, to elaborate, armoury crate disabled gpu, and because i reset, the new windows didn't detect the gpu at all, oh what a circus, so I would say first you try to disable optimised mode in armoury crate, or install graphics drivers, or go for recovery (it wasn't done in front of me, the asus engineer said to me), so idk from where he did recovery, from what i know, there are 2 methods, from windows, and 2nd from the myasus app. Idk if this will help because I'm not sure what the asus engineer did.

Bought this in June. Fantastic machine. Faced laptop freeze issue initially but done a factory reset & now it's working fine. The temperatures do get hot but gaming has no issues. I have one question to anyone who can help is whenever I keep the laptop on cooling pad I face sudden fps drop for 4-5 seconds & back to normal. This happens as soon as I keep it on cooling pad & connect it. This sometimes also happens when the laptop is elevated. The laptop is connected to AC Power while gaming. Any kind of help is appreciated.
Your cooling pad might be drawing too much power connect it externally and not to the laptop.

@@OT_Shady The problem is that whenever I elevate the laptop I get fps drop every 3-4 mins in the game. Whether I have connected it to a cooling pad or not. Game works perfectly fine if kept on a plane surface immediately.
I bought this laptop 2 months ago. I have also faced this freezing problem 2-3 times and I had to restart it to make it work. Now one problem I am facing is that Microsoft has acquired control on my browsers. Whenever I set chrome or Mozilla as my default one it automatically sets Edge as the default browser. Also, the browsers show that they are managed by some organisation. Tried all the hacks but was unable to solve this defect. Somebody, please help.

Bro this laptop is definitely a beast!! Temperature really goes up as you said. But i undervolted the 3060 and now temperature rarely goes above 75 degrees without any loss in performance 🥂
mere temps 90-95 jate hai ig, mai jyada monitor nahi karta thoe, undervolting se jyada farak padta performance me? games me random but very few crashes ate hai mere so no biggie ig, aur undervolting ka koi video ho to link bhejna please

@@OT_Shady actually there are many reasons due to which games crash and fps drops!!
You can try
1. Updating your graphics drivers.
2. Monitor temprature of cpu and gpu (use msi afterburner and hwinfo64). If cpu temprature going above 90 then that can be issue.
3. Undervolting gpu may also help.

I have another doubt another asus tuf a 15 (2022) is listed on Amazon with qhd 300 hz display, ryzen 7 6800H and RTX 3060 140 W for around 1.2 lakh, is it worth spending 20k more for it or should just go for this model
As far as I know both Ryzen 9 5900HX & 7 6800H have almost same performance. But 6000 series includes mux switch(which will also make it future proof) and if you are getting a 300Hz display additionally for 1.2 then I would say it's reasonable enough to by Ryzen 7. Hope this helps.

Well you get 90Wah battery which is more than other laptops . And we don't expect battery life from gaming laptops but its better than others.

I have R7 5800H + 3050 Ti spec and cpu temps hardly exceed 75 on max fanspeed

Hello pls help me, i bought this laptop 2-3 days back and I'm only getting 150-160 fps in valorant on all low settings. I think it is not using thr gpu at all while gaming. Pls help

Display ke me toh predator helios 2021 acha hai even rtx 3060 105W wala hai but only down side ke jo cpu hai vo bit high temp chlta hai overall predator helios 300 i7 10th gen is great choice also.** Also 16gb single channel ram hai so.. Shivam bhai yrr saints row bhi acha game hai 2022 wala so please try to add that benchmark too also cyberpunk 2077.
