Moonlight Racing is an off-road park in Sullivan Missouri, not too far off Highway 44. There’s several trails, there’s a map in the video of the different trails. It cost us $15 a person to get in. There’s a Creek that you ride through that connects most of the trails. There’s a lot of side-by-side‘s in there there’s a lot of trails some you can and you can’t do in a jeep. There was a lot of thorny bushes and trees around there so if you don’t want to catch a couple pinstripes be very careful. But it’s a lot of fun. Hope you enjoyed the video

Hey what is the purpose of letting out some air in the tires im going to this trail friday and want to know the best way to drive it. Should I stay in 4wd?
And should I use hill descent?
Letting air out improves traction, and it makes the trail ride smoother. Hope you have fun

Great video! Would this be a good place to take a new 4X4 to become familiar with how it operates, Drive in 4HI, 4LO, use the off road features of the truck?
I’m looking for a place I can safely do this but I done want to do any difficult trails right now. I just want to get off road a little so I can learn about my new truck.
Thanks for the question, there are some very mild trails there, there’s a very good chance you’ll get pin striping on your paint. But there are some very basic trails to get it out in four-wheel-drive. Also, Vandys you could try them depending where you’re at.

i'm glad i stumbled upon your video. you seem like a reasonable guy. so i have a ford tremor. basically an f-150 single cab short bed 4x4. i have not raised it but it sits decently high as is, still stock suspension. do they have trails for a truck like this? i want to get into some mud, get a little dirty and have some fun but nothing crazy like rock crawling. basically i just want to hit some off road dirt trails with some water, mud and a few hills. what do you think? hopefully you see this as i leave tomorrow morning to go to st louis from chicago. last minute plans, i know. if you don't see this today, i'll take my chances i guess. thanks-
Most of the parks have trails that will Accommodate a stock rig of all types. All the way up to the really built ones. I would just go out onto their websites and see the trails they all change daily. Depending on mud and where in tear on the trail. Let me know how you do on the trails safe travels

@@reapercreeper3466 there are a couple trails there, depending on how full the park is, it could be a fun day out for the family.

place was cool. missed a lot of trails for my type of truck but we managed to get around the place in one piece. scared the hell out of my wife a few times. definitely need a lift kit on a truck to get the full experience. but still. i had a hell of a time there. there was enough mud and water to drive through to choke a horse.

@@thegeneral1955 the truck is going to get scratched, yes. it's very doable no doubt. if you're anything like me and you see a challenge and want to do it, then you will get some slight scratches. i went through there with my Ford Tremor F-150. you can't get to all the trails but you can get to about 1/2. however, if you don't want to take your truck on those trails there are some small hills, water, a nice big wide open mud pit. in my opinion. it's made for ATV's and Jeep's. but you can have fun in a pick up. i did. just be mindful of your oil pan, lol.
@@thegeneral1955 it kind of is. but if you have an attitude like me, f*ck it. we had a blast. you'll get through some trails. will put your skills to the test. but you're lifted, i wasn't. so yeah man, i would recommend it. and it's cheap. hard to find "cheap fun" these days. the only part that sucks was watching the jeeps get to where i couldn't due to the length of our trucks. but i tried, i sure did. have fun man. grab a 6'er and go tear it up. literally.
