  • I got on the road toward Echo Bluff Park in Eminence, Missouri with about 30 or so members of Illinois Overlanders Facebook Group to which I belong. It was great to see people and put faces to names and such. I met some really nice people and got to do a trail in the Echo Bluff State Park. I did win one of the raffles and got an AM/FM Weather Emergency Radio from Midland. It's red and it works!

    Glad to see you back! That looked like a fun trip! Lots of water crossings. I’m in California, and have forgotten what water looks like!

      Yeah--I think there was a bit too much water at the end... I almost sprung a leak but fortunately it wasn't too bad. I would have hated to have to pull the carpet and dry stuff... total pain. But fortunately, it did not happen!!!

    I don't know where this is but there are no off-road trails inside Echo Bluff SP. Some people actually went through the creek on ATVs here last year and got $500 tickets.

      Really? We had a local guy who guided us through the trail. FWIF...

      @@Onward4x4 there are gravel roads through Pioneer Forest but none through Echo Bluff State Park. People see this video and think they can use Quadrunners and side by sides on the parks trails that are only for hiking. The forest is not part of the state park. It is privately owned.

    Looks like fun, now I want to go camping. Can’t take my camper on roads like that though.

    Wow that was a bunch of people. Looks like it was a fun time. Did they happen to hit other trails on the way to & from Missouri? Have you happened to ride with anyone in Michigan?

      They went on another trail but I didn't go. I have not ridden with anyone in Michigan! We were like 30ish rigs!!!

      @Cory Downing It is possible but I did not see any ATVs on those roads. I wish I could be of more help!

    • @Onward4x4
      @Onward4x4  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @Cory Downing That track is part of Ozark National Scenic Riverways. Research them or get in contact with a ranger station and they will likely be able to guide you more. And--do be concerned about the water crossings--They can get pretty high and an ATV may just be too light for them...
