    So the beefier hub inside are in hydro’s?
    I’m just getting into pulling. Picked up a couple cubs. Great videos by the way. New subscriber here 👍

      Don thank you for the support and welcome to Mr Studabker. You are mostl correct, they do have an all aluminum manual trans with all the good stuff but is prone to weakness from the heavy pulling strains. Good luck with your pulling efforts.

    Looks like it will work, just remember a hot rod is never finished even when it looks like it’s done.

      Keizer took five or so months to build out. Thinking same time frame or less for SGT Pepper

    No universals on the driveshaft? My Bolens QT16 has a universal on both ends,it has the same double rotor brakes as yours. Power steering be a cool option to keep personally. You could re route the lines and power it off a 80's Chevy power steering pump spun by engine. Coming along nicely buddy!!

      Thank you sir, today is all about the motor shuffle and non essential part removal.
      Is your Bolens a hydro?
      Yea, power steering is a cool option. If weight is needed in the front maybe that will be considered.
      Constant velocity joint on the creeper side - yes. Clutch side requires a bushing on the motor crankshaft to felicitate disengagement. Have this same set up on Keizer, which is a great help during engine removal and seems to hold up to the abuse so far.

      @@MrStudabaker yes my Bolens is a hydro. Sundstrand15 it's a heavy beast but it's a great grass cutter.
      I've used it on the trails to drag logs and haul the logsplitter back.

    Running and pinion brake on it

      Yes sir. Pinion brake is the bomb. You can tune the brake to the clutch so easily and it stays in adjustment for quite some time.
