This comment was placed in YT's Held For Review folder, so we missed it. Sorry! The whole reason we bought the tents was to make memories with the kids, so we totally agree with you! Thanks again!
Yes! We are saving all of the ash from our stoves, since we only use firewood in the stoves. The ash from our burn barrels is trash, since we burn a lot of scrap lumber in there. We also have 7 (or is it 8?) huge burn piles of trees we have removed to make way for roads and ATV trails. I think I am about to start a morel mushroom area, and I will definitely be using wood ash for that. Thanks again for watching!
The tents are functional, beautiful and amazing! You guys are living large in those! Agreed color makes a huge difference for the experience. Wood stoves can be a pain. Sometimes it is harder when your not there all the time. Great video guys and great info on the jackery
Wow those tents really are awesome! That's also good information about those Jackery generators. I didn't know you can use off brand panels. Have fun you guys!!🙏✌️
living in one of the old Indian tents is really neat i have done it many years ago. looks like you guys had a great time, but the camera did not want to cooperate for some reason. at his age everything is adventure which he will carry for the rest of his life. thanks for sharing and have a fantastic weekend
Hey Lawrence. We've had mixed results with our White Duck bell tents. One was destroyed during a rain storm, while the other one is still in use, but constantly having to have parts replaced. The interior space of bell tents are so impressive, but we replaced the destroyed tent with 12x16 Kodiak Canvas Cabin Lodge tent. We've been very pleased with it so far (1 year). Thanks for watching!
M hmm. Coat rack. That young boy is genius. It's either on the floor, the bed, the bag or you think your smart and you hang it in the tent but the you gotta constantly walk around it or move it..... I'm getting a kid size coat rack! Thank lil buddy!!
Some serious drop offs there. Time for the Ryobi to take out some twiggy branches or lose an eye. Better moles than fire ants. Yeh, we're way down here.😂😂😂 There was a pheasant or wild turkey like bird on one of your previous night films. What is it? Another great video. 😊❤️🙏🇦🇺⛺️🐍
We haven't seen any pheasants on the place, only turkeys. With the food plots we are hoping to add this fall, we should see more turkeys next year. Thanks!
You gave a lot of nice tips! I look forward to the video on the stove. The tents are so spacious. Now I need to go and grab the grandchildren for a camp out. 😁 Has there been a video about the little kitchen center?
Other than the lamb chop video, we haven't showed us cooking over the fire pit. Both of us actually kinda got addicted to cooking on the wood-burning stovetops in the tents. It was fun learning about where the hot areas on the stoves are.
I bought the 20' Avalon. No matter how I set it up, it always sags, and I noticed you got pieces of wood sort of holding the tent up around the edges. THAT IS GENIOUS. Could you do me a favor, could you tell me how many of those I would need, and what size I should have them cut to? I'll keep them in the truck for my next camping adventure. I was thinking about using PVC piping with a circular top to help avoid wearing out the canvas at the top, what are your thoughts?
The pieces of wood are banisters we purchased at one of the big box stores. They are approximately 1 1/4" square. We have one for each guy line, and we added a rounded over notch on the top of each post so they wouldn't cut into the bungies or guy lines. I cut mine to 34", but keep in mind my tent was on a wooden platform. Yours may need to be a slightly different length depending on the soil firmness.
Ok it’s on the brink of camping season and my family of 6 up here in Missouri is looking at the 20’ white duck bell tent. Do you think the Colorado stove will maintain a warm tent in 15 degree weather? I can’t find anyone that has a setup like I want.
That tent is soo awesome!! Spending time with your family is making so many memories ❤
Making memories is what it's all about! Thanks a ton for watching!
It's a Yurt!!! Love those! I've always wanted to camp in one of those with my boys!
Both of our families have thoroughly enjoyed them! They are so comfortable with the stoves going inside.
Love the tents! Beautiful camping area.
Thank you Karen!
Love your and Devin's round tents. family is everything, and making memories with all of them is always a great idea.Love the video.

That was very interesting to see the ice sitting up there on that ledge of your bell tent

Ashes make awesome compost for gardens! That's what we do up here in Montana.

Thank you! With the panel I bought a $15 adapter and it worked great!

Thanks for watching and for the comment. I think he’s to the age where he’ll remember a lot of this and I love it!
Good morning I wanted to come visit! This is Wendy from Hardnack Farms. 🙏🇺🇸
Thanks for watching, Wendy!
Yes those are nice tents. I have a 13 foot canvas bell tent and would live to get a 20ft tent.

Now those tents are amazing!! What size are they? They look so nice and clean.
Thank you very much. They are 6m or 20ft. Seriously so spacious, sturdy and homey. Is that how you spell homey? :)
@@OurNewLand yes it is!! Thank you for sharing your life with us - a tent like that might be a great thing for us.
Goodness that camera just didn't want to stay standing. Sounds as if the stove will be a practice makes perfect endeavor.
So funny, it was super windy for like 15 minutes. I could probably have positioned it better :). Thanks for the comment!

Easily! I accidently got our 20" tent into the low 80's while it was 20 degrees outside. Same tent, same stove. The family will love it!
Is that a 16' or a 20'?
We each have a 20'. They are awesome!
