I've been using this since September. I run it once a week in vego mode. I usually leave the compost in there for 2 or 3 uses till the bucket is full or half way full with compost to get more out of the tablets. The charcoal for smell lasted about 3 months before it started to smell. Make sure to use a lot of browns in the composter to help absorb the moisture because it can clog the little metal loop thing that the blender uses to break up the food. Then the machine won't fully spin and will run the whole cycle without mixing so you'll have to unclog it. It doesn't do very well with hard peels like oranges, lemons avocados so I either chop them super small or just leave them out. When using the compost make sure to really mix it into your plants soil before watering because the compost will get hard from the water and will mold.
I have this vego, outdoor spin bins and a very large composting operation for leaves and grass etc. I don’t want critters from food scraps breaking down as I live in an area with coyotes. I use all of the above for my plants, garden, and shrubs. The money to buy this is reasonable in my mind.

I have this composter and I absolutely love it! It’s so easy, and beneficial to the garden!
Or you throw it in a spot in your garden and wait. Saves you $300.
Sure, but not everyone has room for composting or a garden area
@@freakytechreviews Sure, it can be a bucket on your balcony. I just think it's way too expensive for what is does.
