I got my prescription lenses free through insurance. And they're transaction lenses.
I wanted to get mine through insurance, but also didnt want to wait until July when my insurance renewed. I am going to use that towards getting prescription lenses in my other Ray Bans
@@ReviewsforNerds Yea and I meant to say transition lenses. I was also got 150usd off the glasses through insurance which was a big help. A lot of people don't realize that their insurance will cover these.
Hello. Nice video. I’m getting a pair. What size is yours? Also I need a spare pair and I like the metal round ones you wear. Which brand and model are those? Thank you.
I purchased the medium pair for my face shape (amazon link in video description). As for the metal frame glasses, those are just a pair of Zenni glasses I picked up awhile back.
I bought mine about 2 months ago and have been waiting for the translate feature

@@ReviewsforNerds Live Transcribe (like on Android phones)? Where does it display real time transcription?
No display. Language is translated real time and broadcast out of the built in speakers. www.meta.com/help/smart-glasses/articles/ray-ban-meta/live-translation-ray-ban-meta-glasses/

What do you mean by a heads up display?
glasses with AR or XR
I would like a screen in my view. The Halliday glasses have a projected image that shines indirectly in your field of view. This would be handy for directions without looking at your phone or notifications.
Until they record in landscape mode rather than portrait mode, they're about useless. Once they fix that these will start selling.
While I agree that it would be nice to have some control over aspect ratio, I have gotten some pretty good shots and video from mine. The point of the glasses (according to Meta) is to share to Instagram and social media. 9x16 is the size for YT shorts and IG Reels so they work great for that.
@renaissancemaneric8019 only if that's the only reason you want them for, they have a lot of uses and i use mine daily, plus people that i work with either wants some or have bought some, and im the only techie, im not a fan of having just portrait but ive taken a lot of videos with my glasses and shared them to friends and its fine it's not like im making a movie, if it was the other way around people would be complaining about not having portrait mode like they do with selfie drones
@@OnyxExeL I own two pairs and love them. Perfection is the enemy of progress. You wait, we'll innovate.
Video should never be shot in portrait mode.
@billchecco Video destined for television, absolutely not. For online stuff, fine. The first person viewpoint with both hands free, creates more possibilities than challenges.
