    Just wanted to say I’ve watched hundreds of car videos as I work on cars all the time as a hobby and this is a very well made video, easy to follow and understand!

    Thanks for the upload. I am planning to change the oil on my 06 Sienna for the first time this weekend.

    Nice video. Costco brand Kirkland full synthetic is only 26.99 for 10 qt (2 case of 5 qt). I store price. Best value for the money.

    Nice video. I have an "06 as well. Always had the dealer do the oil changes but it's pretty easy to do my self. I've done the tranny fluid before on this vehicle; pretty easy. This engine is setup for a DIYer. Like the old style oil filter (screw on, screw off).

    2:09 Location of oil drain plug.

    A 14 mm is more correct for the drain plug (either box end or socket and ratchet).
    I noticed you're using high mileage oil. Does that mean your engine burns or leaks oil?

    • @typicalthrill
      @typicalthrill  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah, I guess a 14mm is the right one, but this one works just fine as well. Shouldn’t need to force it much, so not much of a chance of rounding it off.
      I believe it does leak a bit, and it is a 2006 after all so the mileage is pretty high!

      Do you not use high mileage oil in your cars over 75,000 miles? If it goes over that I usually stick to full synthetic high mileage just to be safe.

      @@haunted133 Yes I do! I tend to have high mileage cars, so I get the high mileage stuff. They charge a premium for it at most shops, that's why I started doing it myself.
