- Welcome to another installment of our Theme Park play through with Part 4. In this episode, we continue to attempt to right-size the ship and stop hemorrhaging money. I’m managing to keep happiness on the uptick, and at one point we managed to have nearly half the happiness meter in the blue (good!). I did have to take out a loan however, but it was for the purposes of getting a new ride. On the plus side, this allowed me to significantly increase the ticket prices, which should hopefully generate a lot more revenue. Variety of rides is key for raising ticket prices, so fingers crossed. I do have a small concern brewing in the back of my mind that we’re in a slow downward spiral, but we’ll see how long we can keep this park afloat!
Also, I finally got notifications from the park guide to raise prices on the food/drink/duck shoot rides. Hopefully that will also juice the income. I’m also trying to figure out if it makes sense to add duplicates of the shops for more revenue. If anyone watching is more familiar with the inner workings on this game, please leave a comment and let me know!
Lastly, I’m getting wrecked in these staff negotiations. If anyone has any tips here to maybe lower it, again drop me a note in the comments!
New Ride introduced:
Clown Acts
Cost: 11,750
Ride Excitement: Okay
Reliability: Superb
Maximum Capacity: 24
