PRS is the relentless pursuit of perfection.. No major builder can touch their quality.. I have SE's S2's, silver sky, Cores, artist tops and fortunate to have one Private stock double cut McCarty 594 charcoal..
It is very cool of you guys to devote this amount of attention on a line you don't carry. I have one PRS and I have to say it is the best built guitar that I own. Their quality control is second to none. Beautiful guitar. And of course Cooper's playing is exemplary, as always. Thanks.
Absolutely worth it... I paid $15999 for a Private Stock with the most amazing tone woods (both visually and audibly) maple/mahogany/Brazilian rosewood... I have no regrets... apart from my Wal MK2 bass, I can't think of an instrument I adore more.
I think EVERY guitar is made to be seen & experienced by all! If I was still playing live I'd take my nicest gear out to play & have the audience see it whether they appreciate it or not. Even with the stuff I have now I'm missing a Fender Thinline Telecaster that my brother has borrowed because of it's sound!
The thing you come to realize as you go down the Paul Reed Smith rabbit hole And you start comparing it to the best that the other companies offer.... The regular production line stuff coming out of PRS is everybody else's best custom shop. That's what the core line is. Private stock is unique to PRS because nobody else even has one. Gibson and Fender have a custom shop. And every once in a while something comes out of their custom shop that is comparable to what the boys in Maryland put out every single day In their production facility. Private stock is an entirely different ball game. And The other big manufacturers don't even know the game exists let alone participate in it.
I liked my PRS SE Silver Sky so much that I sold my Fender American strat simply cause I don’t pick it up. Can only imagine what their core models n 10 tops are like. Private stock is just a poor man’s dream.
Gorgeous guitar, impeccably built, the neck is amazing. PRS can produce such an unique guitars with those premium looks plus it sounds so well. I’m happy that Cooper played it, not a bad choice to try a PRS 😉. Excellent review considering that you don’t carry the brand, hopefully this is the starting point for you.
I wondered why you didn't carry prs. Now I know. I love PRS, they are my electric guitar of choice. Their SE line is great and the price can't be beat.
Hi Chris & cooper: Question……………………… my hands are small side with short fingers so playing guitar is kind a hard for me stretching wise on the fretboard. What do you recommend as far as guitars Someone recommended to me a Gibson SG 61 but that’s not my style. She loves the oldies music 50s and 60s with the sound of the Gibson 335. Any information you could help me with would be appreciated Love your videos keep them up. Thank you.
Don't i feel lucky. I have a 594 i bought new. It's not private stock but custom spec'd with Indian rosewood neck, Brazilian rosewood fretboard, and single piece maple top. It's 1 of 3 ever made in its color. It is USA only as well. I never new you could actually get arrested for leaving the country with it. He is correct about that neck. If feels as luxurious as hell and the smell when you open the case is aahhhhh.
I have three PRS SE models and You guys are great but I think carrying the PRS brand would increase your revenue. Just my opinion. I also love my Taylor, Cordoba Fusion Orchestra CE, Fender James Burton Tele and Martin guitars. I also love my two PRS electric guitars and PRS acoustic guitar. I don't want to sound like I am bragging, I just love my guitars.
Could you guys please address the role of the U.S. Customs certificate? I was under the impression that it's intent was to address these transportation issues.
That was class. You have gone right up in my estimation. Selling a brand you don't stock, praising it to the rooftops just coz it's good. Nice one

Wow, feel bad for the dude who traded this masterpiece in, I'm sure he's in deep regret poor guy

Thank you for creating this video on PRS. I wish you did carry this brand. Thanks again.
I like the PRS approach to the bridge- no extra saddles shows they got it right.

Wow, that demo had me drooling. That sound was incredible.

Beautiful, and great tone! BTW, love Cooper’s shirt!
Incredibly beautiful instrument. Maybe my dream guitar.

Oh my God that sounds incredible!
You have the right to remain silent. Anything you play can be used against you :)
That prs is gorgeous
Excellent review, nice to see a different brand given the Chris/Cooper critique. Always enjoy your reviews.
Cooper needs to buy this for his collection. I think that would be a great home for this guitar.

Such the nice guitar thanks for sharing with us.
I put a lot of distortion on my PRS McCarty🤘🤘🤘
Wow, that is a beautiful guitar. Never seen one with 24 frets like that one has! Cool 😎
Absolutely I would gig with this guitar.
Wolfe makes a nice nice Les Paul that looks like that. Sounds great to.

Cooper looks great in that yellow ball cap
Do tell, (if’n you’re allowed to) what does a person trade for with this guitar? What did they get in return for it?

Man that playing.. wow
All those zeros after the twelve in the price would confuse my accountant. But yes, it is one lovely piece of art.
What amp Cooper ?
What annoys me about prs is the only models I seem to like the look of are around 10k+ 🤣
The clean tone is flawless and the timbre sweet as it comes. Definitely not an instrument for the poor man. But somebody gets the bask in that sound.

Very Beautiful 🤩

I have pair of Cocolabolo shoes that I wear everytime I go to the white House.
$12,000. I will never be able to own one.
Its inspired by a Ted McCarty design.. Look at the Les Paul patent.. It doesn't say Gibson
These guys need a kickback from the manufacturers and Alamo. I bet their reviews sell more guitars…
I was waiting for them to start making out with the guitar.
Cause it plays amazing😘😘😘😘
The grain on the back is gorgeous and the top isn't bad either. Not a fan of the red inlays.
Just for Cork Sniffers.
