Could you tell me what youre doing at the 0:40 second mark to those skull enemies? I understand shooting them until they open, then shooting the missiles for more points. But it seems like youre doing something else by running into them?
Some large enemies have an “Overkill” Mechanic where shooting them during their death animation will still earn you points, I’m assuming they’re just getting closer to them in order to maximize the amount of bullets that connect/be time efficient.
if you wait a little bit the skull shoots a lot of small projectiles you can destroy for extra points. It also can be a way to stall your combo going down while waiting for enemies
Yes as both replies said those are the 2 main things. Don't shoot the skull too fast in order to allow it to send out projectiles, shoot the projectiles and overkill the skull for maximum points.
