Exactly. We don't need no fucking host briefing us that we're going to watch 5 clips, get off bitch, the title already says that. And the commentary they do after every video. Lord help me.
Dude javelins centre of mass has been shifted. Max throws are shorter than those days. So it's not possible but still today's time record can happen. Can't wait for neeraj.
One important thing to understand is that in olden days the javelin used was different it would travel longer...and therefore Olympic committee changed its centre of mass and now travels little shorter than earlier ones... That's why it is almost impossible to break world record ...and so most of the longest throws are clips from olden days.... Just an info❤️
As others have pointed out, the Javelin had to be changed. Before the change the world record was 104 meters. th-cam.com/video/6YPjh_WwWas/w-d-xo.html This video shows it. The javelin was getting too close to where people were standing. So they changed it. With that old Javelin I think Železný might have been able to take out some poor bastard running the 10000m.
Comparing distance across different years does not makes sense since wind plays a major role. Sometimes wind helps increase the distance and sometime it’s the opposite.
Javelins are made to cut through the wind and honestly if you’ve thrown one you know that wind only affects the run up not the release. Wind only really hurts them if you throw it sideways which ya know isn’t how you throw them.
Who else is watching this video after Arshad Nadeem’s incredible gold medal win, setting an impressive Olympic record with a throw of 92.97 meters? ✌️🇵🇰
But if you notice the background in first clip there is very little wind blowing so the world record in first clip was genuine. Also if there is high wind edge to all these players then why other who where playing in the same matches didn't get that benefit.
That dude can hurl a spear on a frozen rope 1000M into the sky. Only second to him is Uncle Rico who can toss this here ball over them there mountains...
I don't understand the title. There are several throws which are shorter than several of Zelezny's. Zelezny went twice over 95 meters at the same event in Sheffield for example, one of which (95.66) was the world record at the time. Of course, Zelezny himself broke it in Jena. I guess you could call your video something like "The best throws by five world class javelin throwers" as I presume in each case it is their best attempt, but the best five throws ever? No.
@@popcultexpress WRONG! Javelins were changed in 1986 after Uwe Hohn threw his Javelin over 104 metres. Zeleznys throws (the two above 95 and his record with almost 98.5) were thrown with the new javelin

Youd think that the men would be swole in a sport involving throwing something as far as you can but it just goes to show you that technique and knowing how to put your whole body into the throw matters more than just pure strength same thing when you throw a punch just because somebody has huge arms doesnt mean they can punch harder than someone smaller than them with a better technique.
@@arupanandagope3764 Yes, Javelin is changed now - we have a carbon spears better than old - new type of Javelin is from 1984, Zelezny throwed 98,48,95,66,95.54 and 94,64 with new type non-carbo Javelin - gl neeraj... :D
