This video does not mention that you can use this shaver with or without the cord which is good to know because the box says you will get 45 minutes of shaving for a full 8 hours of charging but in reality it will not last for 45 minutes on a full charge so the option of being able to use it with the cord plugged in is very important for this shaver. One other minor point is when the shaver is fully charged the white light does not stay lit solid as described in this video. When the shaver is fully charged, the white light will stop blinking and completely stop, no blinking and no solid. Last point this video should have mentioned, after removing the blades for cleaning there is one specific way to put the blade housing back in the shaver properly. You will need to align the 2 protruding points on the housing with the 2 small spaces in the shaver so the blade housing will completely drop into place or else the black plastic holder will not allow you to rotate the locking device to the locked position. This video cuts away as he is trying to lock it then comes back after he locked it because you can't just drop them in you must align the points. Summary....this shaver does the job very well without having to apply much pressure at all. This video however in my humble opinion left out some important information for the viewers. It's all good we all learn and do better next time. :)
both work
I have the electric version of this. It does a good job. Way better than the wahl i had. I also have the little beard trimmer.
Sorry, mine is the s1223/41 but gives the same directions for washing and wet use as the s1332/41 the Aqua Touch name is the only apparent difference if bought in Australia. The instruction that the accessories are different are in no less than 37 languages. The directions are in lots of pictures with no words. I do agree on your other claims about the longevity of Philips shavers etc., which is why I didn't go for another brand. Thanks.
Good manual, it helped me, thanks!
Do we need to replace its blades?
I've searched the net but cannot find a charger stand for this model which is slightly frustrating. Good close shave though.
I needed to find out what the lights mean. Thanks for the info!
Does this have an adjustable setting for closer shave ...mine doesn't shave close and it's a reasonably new one
Do you shave in a clockwise or counter clockwise motion? Or does it even matter?
Good information, thanks!!!👍
Glad it was helpful!
You forgot to say if this shaver works while it is connected to the charger or not. That's a very important feature that apparently many Philips shavers don't have anymore, like the 3000X series. I'm so glad I still have a new old stock HQ6990 ready for when the HQ6970 breaks (if ever). These shavers were great! Series 3000 models like S3510 apparently work while connected to the charger but I believe these models are also out of production already. Dunno is there is anything else from Philips that works while on cable.
yes it works while connected

What is the difference in all the 1000 series, like the 1050, the 1060 or the 1121 they all read the same.
What if i just wan to trim the mustache?
What's the difference between this model and the Series 3000?
3000 has pivoting and flexing heads for a closer shave, 60 minutes shaving time from one hour charge (1000 has 45 mins) and the series 3000 is virtually silent. I got a 3000 for half price a month ago, it's the closest thing to a wet shave I've ever had from an electric shaver. No needed to go any higher spec or spend any more money than a Series 3000, they are brilliant.
Can you have wet shaves (using gel) with this model?
Yep
how to shave with a Philips electric shaver series 3000
How we can do hair trim with this
It's not a trimmer. You'll have to buy that separate.
How has this been?
so far so good. easy to clean and battery is fine
@@TechandDesign any irradiation? Is it a good shave?
good clean shave. I’ve always used Philips since they last long.
So u can’t use it in the shower?
supposed to be waterproof
Las afeitadora filips es lo mejor
lol, thanks for this, took so long reconstructing it...
Tech my dad also use this is the same model
Good information thank you 😍😍😍❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥👌🏻👌🏻
So It's not waterproof
exactly
It is water resistant and can be cleaned under a tap not submerged under water and yes the whole unit is able to be rinsed off and you don't have to be "very careful" as in the video advise.
