Thanks for this! I've been looking for something like this for a little while. I just installed it and have started adding listings, and this plugin is seriously everything I need. And what I need, the free version is more than enough!
MAK, thanks for this review. It was great. I did want to let you and everyone know that in order to use the Directorist themes, they require Elementor. They do not integrate their themes with Divi (which was disappointing).
Hey there! Great video I downloaded the plugin and followed your instructions but I have 2 questions that was not covered... 1. for the "rate & review" feature.. people are using this feature but the ratings do not show up. Is there something else we should be setting up? 2. For the "contact us" feature that is on each listing where the end user can email the lister, how do we set up the email address to whom the email should be going to? Thank you for your guidance!
Nice review mak. Just one request. Is it possible to show the finished product at the beginning of the video, with examples of who could use this plugin in the real world? Then afterward get into the tutorial. This way unsure viewers can determine if it's something we're interested in or not. Other than that great work.
Thank you so much for this helpful guide. Is there an option to add conditional dropdown menus to dynamically change the child dropdown menu options based on the option selected in the parent dropdown?
Thanks for the review! It looks like a very powerful tool. ' One thing that would make it much stronger, is if they allow pricing list comparisons for different products from different shops. Then you can show where you can buy specific products and showcase how much it costs, with the cheapest option at the top. Then you can also add affiliate links to earn money. As far as I know, they don't offer this.
Looking for a way to convert an existing eDirectory site into a Wordpress site, would this plugin help or could you recommend a good way to handle this situation?
What forms and payment plugins do we need to run alongside the Directorist plugin? Specifically, do we need a membership plugin for people to create an account before adding their listing?
Hi, I am using this plugin for a doctor directory. Is it possible to add multiple addresses? I saw it allows multiple locations but the location is like a filter with a different city, county, etc.
Hello Mak, I can not edit the single page listing using Divi. I hope I am wrong. Also, you are correct the image is too big. Thanks for all of the years of your wonderful tutorials Success to you
hello Mak, I have been following you for a long time and I wanted to thank you for the tutorials which have helped me a lot in my learning. I bought a directorist license and tried to install it on different site constructers. What do you think of the number of plugins to install on the site to have a complete and functional site? this does not affect the performance of the site? Sorry for the google translate
,many thanks for this review (or rather infomercial) It would be nice to see what kind of shortcodes are available to display the listings. For example, can you customise the way it looks on the shortcode level...or is buying the membership, and the themes, the only option to change the directory's appearance. I like how easy it seems to set up listings, but customisation is key...and unfortunately it was not possible to see much of that. Perhaps you can cover that in a next video? Thanks again, Mak.
Setting up can be fairly easy which this review demonstrates but it is the living with the plugin which is not that great. There are features still missing. Eg. For UK and GDPR compliance there is not even an unsubscribe. Things like this are highlighted to the team but not acted on. The support system is sporadic ie they only answer you when they can solve it, for other problems they cannot solve they ignore and keep you in the dark. There have been lots of teething problems and updates to correct. Each time updated you have to learn again. There is a major lag in documentation to help you work through new features etc. I would recommend trying it as an unpaid version only. If you want to make money then pay for the extra features to claw back costs.
Thanks for the (interesting) heads-up about missing features and limited support! Is there another similar plugin which you'd recommend instead of "Directorist"? Thanks in advance for your feedback!
overrated plugins, just stay with free and small listings, anything above 1k you can see the whole site lag like mad. they are not working on it either, they commented the speed is expected for a complicated plugin such as this. Codecanyon has directory pro does the job for fraction of the cost .
It would be great if you made something on Divi Engine. The UI may not be as nice but It can do something pretty similar and I would love to know what you think of it.
Hi Mak, I have been following your video for a well you are doing great and you have greatly help my digital skills. Am looking for a directory plugin that supports package listing i.e ( Standard listing and Premium listing) I will be glad you can help me out.
Thank you all for the comments, I am coming from reddit and it is kind of the same thing, now I am convinced to not payr for directorist, maybe it can be used for really small directories and only with the free version of it. Once again, thank you all.
This plugin has a lot of bugs. People are wasting their time with this plugin. Support does not resolve any issues. Crooked programmers made this plugin.

Thank you for the great review~! Would love to see a tutorial series of the Directorist plugin. ♥♥♥

that makes 2 of us.
How is OP using Divi instead then?

Thank you for your video. A quick question about what is your Directorist's email autoresponse suggestion?
Great video. Thank you! I really appreciate all of the work that you put into your videos. I know Birmingham very well.

which plugin is better, directorist or listinghive?

Cant see an affiliate link for Directorist?

Is this some affiliate ? Hearing coupon im not watching . Probably showing some settings. That is not review, that is tutorial 😅😊
I bought a paid plan, hoping to somehow revive their poor software, on which everything is crooked. All their plugins don't work!

Nice thank you
This plugin sucks. I've been heldback for 2 weeks trying and testing this plugin. It's plague with bugs...
Cant believe using Divi, so bloated isn't they?
Merci!!!
