thank you for showing us around on your holidays to Bali ,I've never been there ,it looks lovely . we head to Hawaii every year at this time to get away from the cold weather here. there didnt seem to be many tourists around in your pics , that's a bonus, can you swim in the beach water there ? a relaxing holiday away from the cold weather with our loved ones is always the best isnt it !!! i bet you didnt want to come home lol
Hi lovely. You're very welcome! Bali was indeed lovely, I love Hawaii too and we try an alternate one or the other every couple of years, like you also to get away from the winter cold here but we do Hawaii in Dec/Jan 😄 How do you find the weather around this period? Is the heat manageable or is it really hot and humid? Some of the beaches in Bali are beautiful, and you can definitely swim in the water. But we prefer the pool, only because it is more peaceful, unless you're at a private beach you do get the locals trying to sell you things which is lovely but not very relaxing when it happens every five minutes. Bali was quite peaceful where we went. I didn't vlog Seminyak because that was crazy busy, tourists everywhere and this time we also didn't go to Kuta which is also busy. A relaxing holiday away from the cold with loved ones is always the best, and you're right-I didn't want to come home! 😊🌴💖

Absolutely loved this vlog Deborah. All the clothes you showed looked beautiful. Shame about the linen TK max dress. Ive seen the new shopping complex on TH-cam, it reminded me of Chadstone as well. You're absolutely right the new shopping complex is providing new job opportunities, unfortunately many of the locals can't shop there as the prices are geared to the tourists rather than the locals. We had such a wonderful time, and I'm glad I could share a bit of our holiday with you. We were away for 10 days, 5 in Sanur and 5 in Nusa Dua, and it was absolutely magical. Kevin and I have both said we could have stayed there longer and definitely Sanur will be a place we'll return to. The photo of Kevin and me is my favourite too, I'm getting it printed for my photo gallery 😉 Can't wait to hear about your next trip! 😊🌴💖 Thanks for the tip about the car museum, unfortunately we couldn't make it this time, but I'll add it to our next trip 😚😚

I really liked the brownish unusual top with the pull in waist but flowie style (the one you said was too heavy for Bali thou). Lots of nice dresses. And I can't say I recall seeing those linen trousers in KMart in NZ.

Yes, it was Sanur! 😊 can't say I loved Icon, it was beautiful don't get me wrong, but I don't go to Bali for it's shopping centres, I go for the beauty, the people, the food and the laid back atmosphere. Let me know what you think about it when you go next time. And Shot Gun was such a lovely restaurant, I loved the decor and fit out, and the food 😉 Thanks for the lovely wishes-I had a fantastic holiday in one of my new favorite spots now, can't wait to go back! 💗😚😚

Thank you so much! I tried to choose outfits that would keep me cool and comfortable in the Bali heat. As for shopping, yes I found these gorgeous earrings and necklace in a jewelry store in Seminyak, I'll point them out when I wear them in any future videos. How about you? Have you found any great buys on your travels?
@@Deborahafter50 I haven’t had the opportunity to travel in quite awhile but thinking of taking my daughter to Bali when she finishes year 12 at the end of the year as she doesn’t want to go to schoolies.
That sounds like a wonderful plan! Bali is such a beautiful place to relax and celebrate after a big milestone like finishing Year 12. @Deborahafter50 it's bloody freezing. I'm finally free of the splint after 8 weeks and it feels amazing. I got my nails done yesterday for the first time in 9 weeks in a beautiful bright pink. The strapless dress does Nothing for you.
I have to agree the strapless dress is not flattering & the Sports girl white linen top doesn't suit you. The Tk Max dress you bought recently is nice on you though
