- I needed to get out and explore. I love fishing, but fishing is often just an excuse for me to get out and see new places. Bait wasn't easy, but thankfully the fish were cooperative. It was pretty wonderful being back on a smaller river catching fish out of big ol' tree piles. Big thanks to Kyle @TheFishWhisperer1 for letting me bum a ride. I watched a guy toss a net on a 6-7 foot sandbar shark once. His buddies are the only reason he didn't go for a ride. This is a fun creek. Im definitely gonna fishing it more in the future.
i love the vids man keep up the good work! That being said, it blows my mind that people use the drum as bait! those are some of the best eating fresh water fish man, those guys are very sought after where i live lol. Crazy how different places view different fish as keepers and bait

Hey Spencer ….. just left the hospital … I haven’t slept in almost three days. ER doctor gave me a drug called serquel ( it’s a strong sedative ). I’ve been trying to type this message for 15 minutes because I’m in a stupor 🤤🤤🤤.
I took it a half hour ago and I am so relaxed and have double vision.. quadrupole vision with my glasses on. And the best part, I’m watching your video with a huge Kodiak chew in. watching the Bears Vikings game.

Is it that obvious? 😆
If fish follows it, pause 1 second, then 1/2 reel crank fast pause 1 second, then fast 1/2 this will think bait fish is scared darting away fish will bite. You do 1/2 reel crank 1 second pause 2 to 3 times fish will bite. Put procure bloody tuna, or procure bloody tuna with garlic your golden. 😊 this is great to do when bite is tough and fish are finicky. Also a small or moderate sized splitshot with a size 1 owner american baitholder hook on 7 inch leader with a zero z too with bloody tuna by procure. Or a live fat nightcrawlers your good to go. Retrieves that are moderate or slow with 2 to 3 fast half reel turns is also good when its hot outside or a slow retrieve long pauses. Obviously slow retrieve long pauses with 1 or 2 half reel turns fast to get fishes attention. Ive use these methods in the fall with moderate to slow with 1 or 2 halfurn 1 seconds pause retrieve. Summer ill use 2 to 3 half reel turns fast moderate retrieve when its warmer when its hot 2 half reel cranks fast slower retrieve.
The condition of the trinity is sad. It was that way 20 plus years ago when I lived down there.
