So happy to FINALLY be posting this highly anticipated video.... my top 5 volume tips for curly hair! These tips are literally a lifesaver and I use them when I want super big, super fluffy hair!
I have 3b hair which can look flat if you don't know how to style it! This will work especially well on 2c, 3a, 3b and 3c hair!

I used to the same problem until I started diffusing my hair.
layers will help. Longer hair weighs itself down if it’s a loose curl as it has less elastic potential.

does anyone have any tips for keeping the volume all day? throughout the day my 3a curls get frizzy and undefined and droopy/not voluminous. i can start off with good hair and it’s bad by the end of the day.

Jayme Jo i have a few products: a nym curl talk mouse and their defining cream along with the shea moisture curl defining smoothie and a devacurl ultra defining gel
I like to have a spray bottle with some virgin coconut oil, and argon oil. Touch it up with the water
@Isabella Bardon You should usw the Shea leave in conditioner or another one. I used the Cantu onw for a while and I never checked the ingredients because I thought it worked. It turns out it's bad foe your hair. Some Cantu products can be ok but the leave in conditioner is bad..

I was always hesitant about getting layers because my mom always said that they're hard to manage but now my mind is set on getting layers, getting mousse (I didn't know they were a thing until now), and a diffuser. I was starting to lose my curls but I have some hope now! Thank you so much for this video!! ♡

its so hard to actually find a hairdresser who knows how to cut curly hair i-😭😔 they always keep cutting it as if it was straight hair it bothers me so much

Maybe go to a salon that has black hairdressers? They have more knowledge about curly hair and most of the things that we have learned about curly hair have come from black people.
It’s crazyyyyy how much volume you got!!! I have a similar curl pattern to you it’s just a tiny bit loser in spots but that’s probably just because of how crazy heat damaged me hair is. You have really inspired me and im going to wear my natural curls way more often!
Whenever I fluff my hair out it gets big but like after a few seconds it goes back to normal :( help?

I know you commented this a year ago, but if you’re still having this problem, I would recommend a scrunch spray. Aussie has one that’s really good. After your fluff out your hair, spray the scrunch spray in it, like all around your hair, and it should stay.
Use hair powder. L’Oréal Tecni Art Super Dust is good. You apply it to your roots and shake your curls.

how?! her hair is so pretty my hair is a mix of 3a and 3b and no one in my only 2 people in my family have curly hair (grandma and great-grandma) and both of them have short hair so I don't really know how to care for my curls and I have to resort to youtube most of the time I haven't found anyone that's helped me more than you help me so thank you so much!

Your hair is GOALS for me! I have natural curl, but I am just now learning how to take care of it. I have three (soon to be five) kids and just have never dedicated any time to taking care of myself or my hair. Even doing the smallest things help my hair so so much to find it’s pattern. The trick is keeping it now that my hair is super long. I’m giving it some grace and time and hope to have the healthy bouncy hair that you have one day. ❤️

I don't currently have a diffuser and that's made my life a bit difficult but oh well.
Love your energy you're really positive and straight forward, and so pretty to look at gosh beautiful skin hair and eyes I must say! Thanks for the vid just started embracing my natural curls my hair is not as chunky as yours it is quite damaged and shorter but have used your technique with my own products and it does definitely make me feel more confident, i look like ive got way more hair and I actually got a few compliments. Thank you!
I actually use dry shampoo on my roots from the middle roots to the bottom of my head towards the nape of my neck as my hair tends to like stick to my scalp with a lot of my hair being dead and damaged I can get greasy roots but really dry coarse ends so I'd recommend that but I prefer the spray products instead of the vegan powder dry shampoos but u feel so bad like it's bad for the environment to buy that product because of the waste canister afterwards. But it's a tip I'd recommend anyhow. Absolutely terrified of going to a hairdresser because none i know of specialise in curly hair most people are Caucasian where I live so I'm too scared to let another hairdresser hack my hair off. I want to grow my hair and my favoured product is organic virgin cocnutnoil I warm it up and even go to even with a scarf over my hair sometimes if i plan to wash my hair the next day, works well for me.

Hey Jayme Jo! I have a quick question for you. Do you like mousse or gel to hold your curls in place? I've been using gel but I feel like its not giving me the volume that mousse does, but it does make my hair more defined. Which one do you think is better? Thanks alot! Such a beautiful girl and hair 🥰🥰😍 btw I do also have curly hair, but I noticed that I am not having big volume when I do apply like you products, and when I am drying it with diffuser it happens that a lot of product dissapers and my hair gets dry at the top and little in the middle, where ends having a lot of products probably gets from the roots till ends. And usually I end up with frizzines.I know that I need hair cut cuz it it is too long, but I will try to get my hair shorter little bit, and also I damaged my hair straightening it.
I have so much volume right after I diffuse my hair but it always drops and becomes frizzy how can I prevent this and keep my volume all day long? Also you’re acc so gorgeous 🥰love your vids! X

I heard many times that layers split the ends so u ned to go trim them pretty much alot which will cost money and wont let the hair grew longer if the hair grows in a slower way than normal which happens so how do u deal with this ?

hii! my hair is curly but i dont have a lot of curly hair products and i cant get a diffuser. Since im not v good at caring for it, the curls are loose and the back of my hair is v wavy instead of curly. My roots are also not very curly, only the bottom!! I have pictures of me as a child with hair almost as curly as urs, but now its nowhere near that :( do u have any tips of keeping your hair so curly with not a lot of materials? pls helpp
