The friend went back out to the camping site the next morning, and Maddie wasn't there, but she didn't call Maddie's parents? Does that sound logical to you? The tent is open. The vehicle is there. Maddie's possessions are there...in an open tent. But Maddie isn't there and the friend wasn't alarmed and didn't bother to check in with Maddie or her family? With friends like this, who needs enemies?

You’re absolutely right. Such bad decisions. Never leave a girl alone, EVER (in the middle of nowhere no less) when there is drunkenness and strangers running amok. Never announce a party on FB, predators are waiting for that type of event precisely. I️ hope her family will find her and lay her to rest properly.

I've been camping in the wilderness with adult friends, and, admittedly, we don't stick to each other like glue, but I wouldn't lose track of one for a whole night. I see what you're saying -- the friend came back, for whatever reason -- to have a kaffee klatsch or whatever -- in the morning, saw Maddy wasn't around the campsite, and so took off, assuming Maddy was hiking or something. Of course, this could be the case; I don't know why she didn't say that. She's probably too paranoid from ``survivor guilt.'' I always go off and sit and contemplate the wilderness alone when I'm camping, that's the best part about it. It's just the fact that it was a wild party the night before -- hindsight tells us it was a dangerous situation.

The friend looks like she's thinking hard about what to say before she says everything, like she's making it up as she goes along. You can literally see her thinking before each bloody sentence.
We set up the tent, then we got some firewood and then set up the tent.
Then some rowdy people showed up, blah blah blah and then some people showed up.
    Suspicious as hell.

How the hell can that girl do that, and nobody checking her tent the next day when they all knew she just camped alone for the night were there were a bunch of drunk people no one knew??? I think she left Maddy to give Maddy some privacy with whoever was scheduled to "spend time" with Maddy in the tent, that person is the Key and Jordy could possibly shed some light on that.
Jordy may know something that she DOESN'T know that she knows. , but a skilled investigator can get it out of her.

The set and setting are perfect for a kidnapping. You're in the bush, the place is packed and kids are drinking... the fact you think there must be witnesses shows you've never been to a bush party or at least not a very good one..
They weren't camping and sitting around a fire roasting marshmallows. They were drinking and partying.. Madison could've been abducted in the middle of the party for all we know.. Screaming, calling for help, etc aren't really helpful when everyone's partying..

When I was young, we all had a hard and fast rule: you never left a party/club/gathering without the same people you came with - no matter how good-looking or charming the guy. And as for the friend; her story doesn't make a lot of sense. If you're that drunk, you generally want to stay put. If you burned yourself badly enough, you'd go to the ER and you wouldn't be going back the next morning, hung over and burned. If she did go back and didn't see Madison, why didn't she wait around a bit to see if she had been for a walk or something? When she didn't show at all, why not at least call Madison's mom? And then, to not even try to reach her over the rest of the weekend - especially since she wasn't at her tent?? I'm not saying she's directly involved, but maybe she's leaving things out because she feels guilty?

I'm not sold on the "so drunk so I will stay put/sleep it off" scenario. I remember many times in my 20s where if I felt too drunk or high, I went home because I wanted to sleep it off in a comfortable bed and close to a toilet if I had to puke. If I had been really drunk and had injured myself and was out in the woods, the FIRST thing I'd want to do is go home where there was plumbing and electricity and not risk puking inside a tent I'm sharing someone.

I agree. When I was a teen we partied EVERY weekend. We lived in a small town, there was a group of 10-20 of us depending on whether or not others from school came. One weekend, one of us went missing, though we were drunk as a skunk and high as kites, we got our asses up, and went looking. We did not stop until we found our missing friend. As much as we did NOT want to call the parents, WE DID, because at that point 8.5hrs had gone by and we can’t find this person ANYWHERE! Immediately the sheriff was called. We new we were in some shot water we were all teens and minors, but we still told the sheriff EVERYTHING! 4hrs after the sheriff was brought in and a search party formed, we found our friend, *sleeping between large round hay bales, naked with a bottle of Jack Daniels sitting beside her.*
She had left to go to the pop machine a few houses down from where we were partying, and somehow she ended up on the abandoned train tracks and in a field behind the cemetery.
That was the most terrifying day of my life, even over both attempted abductions I went thru!

@@quirkya909 I think her weird behaviour is due to being nervous to be on camera. It’s an unusual situation that she wouldn’t be used to. Plus she knows everyone is blaming her. She probably feels guilt for leaving Maddie too. All these factors play into what would seem like strange behaviour. Maddie’s parents have also said that they don’t believe Jordy had anything to do with their daughter’s disappearance. Also, being a bad friend doesn’t mean you’re complicit or lying. She could’ve been just that - a bad friend. Factor in that they weren’t even close friends at all. One time my friend group lost track of a friend at a club and she ended up roofied and in an alley way. That made us irresponsible and reckless but if she had totally disappeared it wouldn’t have made us involved in any way.

It’s unsettling to think that she was the only one camping there, drunk, in the middle of nowhere, surrounded by strangers, with only her sketchy friend by her side. There were so many red flags. No matter how tight-knit your community is, or how “chill” the people at a party seem, you always need to be alert. She asked Madison to go home with her, but Madison did not want to because she was already set up in the tent. People say that Jordy should not have left Madison. But maybe Madison should have left with Jordy to see that her injured friend got help or at least got home okay. Not blaming Madison at all for what happened to her, but just I just feel people are blaming Jordy too much. She didn't just abandon her friend for the heck of it, and she obviously will live with that guilt for the rest of her life.

She obviously wasn’t that injured from the fire. She didn’t go to a hospital. Jordi seems to be more into herself than her friend that is missing. It’s all about Jordi. It’s the Jordi Show. And her story seems to change a bit from other programs I’ve seen where she’s interviewed. Notice how all Maddy’s friends tear up and get emotional when talking about her while Jordi has no emotion and speaks like she’s talking about it’s just any other day.

      @karenlm9062 6 ปีที่แล้ว +10

I think it is natural and normal to make the judgemental comments if your point is NOT to help the situation and just vent your own feelings. But when you want to help you take a step back and look at the details that will find Maddison. Two things need to be considered. First, Maddison was described as stubborn and not one to do anything she didn't want. And with the no mention of a struggle or physical evidence, you might consider she initially went willingly. Second, what is known is what people are saying and recalling in bits and pieces mixed in with young people with drunken memories. What has been said can be a place to start, but it is important to consider the untold story at points information could have been changed or slightly altered to derail attention. If only one person can give information and they appear totally innocent then consider the alternate possibilities.
There was once a case of a missing girl. Her body was found. Her boyfriend was incredibly helpful. He passed polygraph, gave DNA and even helped with the search. He helped to frame the story about what happened because he was one of the few that had any ideas. No one....no one expected him at all. The family even leaned on him for support. Turned out the reason he knew so much and was safe in giving DNA was that he had killed her in such a way no one would figure it out. He was a true sociopath and why the polygraph didn't catch him. What got him? Fresh eyes and ears that looked at the information as if everyone was suspect. One by one no one made sense except the boyfriend. And then they started to pick apart the story he framed and looked at places in which he had total control of things everyone automatically believed because one person said it was so. He is now serving 30 years.
So when thinking of the story about Maddison there is more then one chapter. Each and every person who was there at the camp site has their version of events about what they did and saw. One of those stories is false. Just have to trace back and listen to the stories to see which one can't be verified beyond the story teller.

Nobody else at this birthday bash thought to camp out overnight? I find it very strange that Madison was the only one who thought to pitch a tent and hunker down to party and for the entire night. This is normal outdoor party behavior. Does that mean all the rest of the people in this group drove back to their homes drunk? I find this highly unlikely. There either had to have been others from the party staying overnight or maybe they all got a memo that said they shouldn’t stay overnight (due to some kind of foul play they’d been aware of perhaps)? Jordy sounded scared when she said more people arrived and things started to change. seemed scared . This party clearly got out of hand and with only about five people remaining at the campsite when she was leaving, she must have known in a basic way who was left there especially if she opted to leave her friend alone in the middle of nowhere with these last few people. Secondly most campsites have an 11 am checkout so if her “friend” Jordy went back to the campsite the next morning and saw Madison’s tent and truck, why in the hell would she not have gone to check on her especially realizing that Madison’s tent and truck was THE ONLY ONE left and knowing she left her there with a small group overnight?! Possibly a fight or some kind of hazing/prank gone wrong, maybe even just an accident that her friends covered up in a panic. Too many inconsistencies in their story. A couple of huge coincidences as well. A large group goes camping, ALL but one person decides to go home, and that person then turns up missing? Seems more likely everyone wanted to get out of there because something had already happened to Madison. Also, her parents said when they got to the site the next day they approached someone from a distance, and it just happened to be someone Madison knew, but she claimed not to have seen Madison at all. What are the odds of that? Did friends come back to cover their tracks.. were they double checking to make sure no evidence was left behind.. was she possibly on the look out while others were up to something?

That's my exact take on this story. They were at Seven hundred something days at the time of this video,, unfortunately, Maddy is not going to be found in or around that area anymore! I think it gives the family some sort of comfort hanging in that area where she was last seen but I think they should realize the heartbreak will just keep getting stronger each time with no result. Am not saying they should give up hope,, they shouldn't, BUT I the focus shouldn't be at that location or the immediate surrounding area ANYMORE.. With all the extensive research that has already been done, she WOULD HAVE BEEN LONG FOUND (At least if she is not 6 feet under there somewhere).
So this is 2018, and she was 20 in 2011 so 7 yrs later right now in 2018, I just googled, they still have no idea what happened to Maddy.. So, I think it's time for the family to focus on working with an investigator of cold cases, (A HOMICIDE INVESTIGATOR) I just feel like they stand a better chance of at least finding some closure by looking at this as a kidnap/murder.. It will be incredibly hard for them yes I get that, but this angle of acceptance and investigation might bring Maddy home (even if in bones..) In the end its better knowing one way or the other than leaving this world having not had a clue... Natalie Holloway's case comes to my mind when I watched this.. My heart does go out to them.. It CANNOT be easy...

And there is a time, when silence becomes betrayal. I wouldn't be surprised if it was because of jealousy either. Her "friend" really comes off with this kind of resentment vibe towards Madison.
Of course, this is all my opinion. But I really do feel she knows something more.
I don't even feel like her body language is congruent with her words. And her testimony seems really, really contrived.
Respect to Madison's mom. If I was Her, I'd probably of used vigilante justice on that "friend" to try and get some answers.

To me, it makes no sense why there wouldn’t have been any sign of foul play or DNA, had she been present at the campsite. When the police conducted their search in the documentary & came up empty handed, it really made me think they all went somewhere else to do something & the incident occurred away from the campsite, where nobody is looking because nobody would had even known why she was where she ended up.... I hope that all made sense lol. I really get the feeling her girlfriend who left her there that night, knows something. In the documentary her friend leaves because she is sick to her stomach about “falling in the fire pit”. To top it off the commenter is suggesting, She was beheaded.... Seeing someone beheaded would probably make me sick to my stomach as well. Falling in the fire pit sounded like the lamest excuse to pack up and head all the way back home.

Many of us are guilty of putting ourselves and/or others in dangerous situations when we were young and “partying”. I pray the truth comes out for friends/family AND Madison. Good question, Savita Ram. Seeing the video before reading the comments and opinions, people seem to come up with the same: 'something is not right here!' The BIG question is the investigation itself -- six years and counting and nothing! Can it really be believed that a Lie Detector Test, polygraph test I think they call it, is the 'be-all-and-end-all' in questioning people and determining them as "cleared." If so, then we would not need a judicial system and its scrutiny of testimony to determine the truth of a matter….. Just pull out the ol' Polygraph to make that determination and verdict, saving the taxpayers a whole lot of money, having no need of courts. The guy in the video who is continually squinting (can't see his eyes too well) as he talks about clearing all those who took the 'test' --- including JB? --- is frankly not telling the truth ---- for some reason. Six years and counting, and that is the best they (the investigators) can come up with -- polygraph testing and clearing people whose testimony is clearly sketchy!!!!! According to JB's testimony, there were ONLY five people remaining when she left Maddy that night. Now would that include Maddy, JB, and JB's boyfriend -- making it only two remaining? Or just five others, not including Maddy, JB. and JB's boyfriend? Whatever it is, it narrows the investigation… Who were those few "ratty" others who were there at the camp site when Maddy was still there? And why did JB call them "ratty" and apparently feel afraid? Was it someone, or some persons, JB might have known, and therefore wanted to leave??? JB's conflicting explanation for wanting to leave ("super drunk" or falling in the fire - not true) sets off the alarm bells! It appears that JB is super afraid, even now. And her friends would know, too. This is not a condemnation of JB, but it does show a pattern --- there are lots of supporting examples in other cases --- of how witnesses can be intimidated into silence. (Is that a German flag next to your name, Savita Ram? Just wondering, as there is becoming an international 'audience'.)

Never heard about this case of Madison Scott until 2015. A laminated water-proof Missing poster of Maddy with her description and particulars was on a store notice board on the west side of Kootenay Lake. Over the course of some time it was no longer there, but later a similar laminated poster about 'Maddy" re-appeared on the same notice board….Again, later on, it was no longer there. Over a period of a couple of years, that same thing happened again. Didn't think much of it until this year 2017, when in September I noticed another laminated Missing Poster of Madison Scott at the covered weather-protected Bulletin Board at the Harrop Ferry (Hwy 3A side). In October 2017, while waiting for the Harrop Ferry, I got out to check 'buy and sells' at the same Bulletin Board. The laminated Missing Poster of "Maddy' was no longer there. That is when I thought this odd. If Madison Scott has been found, then that would be the reason for taking down her Missing Posters. Has Madison been found? If not, the pattern of some person(s) taking down her Missing Posters in this area, I find more than a bit odd!

Thanks BBB Bunny. I'm a new kid on the block re: all this discussion. I noticed your excellent comment to Skok3d99 a year ago --- '"Something sure stinks here!" We just do not know yet about Maddy - IF she could get to a phone, she would surely call her mom and dad. Perhaps a faint hope --- in light of the unusual "coincidences" about her Missing posters being removed down here from at least two different Notice Boards, miles apart, near Kootenay Lake for about three years -- after other Maddy posters had been put back up. So WHY would some person or persons want to remove those Missing posters of Maddy??? Also, that Vanderhoof police investigator….Why is he always squinting?? Eyes are the windows to the soul, and can tell a lot. Unfortunately, the police up there, from what I have heard, have a bad reputation in solving missing persons. Perhaps that squinty officer should be given a Lie Detector Test --- just to make sure he is telling the truth about Jordanne being "cleared." Just a thought…no offence intended.

What I find odd about the friend more than just leaving her behind is the fact that she left, and then came back later to get her pillow, and then washed it right away when she got home, and then went to work. Granted, I do know some people who have very "special" pillows that they travel with and can't sleep without, so perhaps she really did want her pillow badly enough to have for the next night, although other stories mention that Maddy was planning on returning to her house at some point, so Maddy could have simply dropped her pillow off to her rather than her having to drive all the way back out to the campsite and back. What could have happened is Jordanne could have been pushed into the fire by Maddy even (as a joke maybe, or a prank that went wrong since Maddy didn't ever get described as a violent type...) and maybe Jordanne was overly angered by this and maybe she and someone else jumped on the tent with Maddy inside, and perhaps they hurt or killed her by accident while doing that. I know a random boy from the party the next night said he was the one to flatten the tent, but maybe it happened sooner? Or maybe Maddy was the one pushed in the fire? But it seems like maybe Jordanne and her bf left with Maddy's body to get rid of it, then they came back to clean any evidence of blood or whatnot.
This is just a theory, and may be far-fetched, but it's the only thing that makes sense unless you start looking into infamous serial killers in the area at the time, like Israel Keyes...he liked to murder random people at campsites and on hiking trails and lived in Washington state, and actually has evidence that he was in Alberta the same week Maddy disappeared. He liked traveling to murder, and would either fly and rent a car, or drive overnight to get to remote locations to find his victims.

My feelings exactly, plus the fact that she isn't very articulate makes it more frustrating. One has to replay the scene over and over to extract what she says. Nevertheless, she didn't do any harm to Madison, had she stayed, things might have been different but then again, she may have disappeared also. Parties today are crashed by strangers, no respect whatsoever about ones privacy etc... This is a case of opportunity, one of the people there noticed she was alone and waited until the time was right. He would have had to have had a vehicle otherwise her body would have found nearby. I say one person because crimes like killing/abducting is impossible to keep secret. Alcohol mixed with desire and opportunity makes for a strange cocktail. She is not coming back unfortunately. The wilderness there is so vast, finding her is like looking for a very small needle in a giant haystack. Hope she is found! Her family is awesome and need a break!

Jordy didn't feel comfortable and said so and wanted to leave and did; we've all been there. However, 48 hours was lost before reporting her missing, an eternity in missing persons cases. Had she called her mom or followed up later that Saturday or even Sunday, the case may have been solved but she didn't do anything. Madison's fate wouldn't have changed however, her fate was more than likely sealed before Jordy got there Saturday.

There are only 2 things that could have happened..some of her friends are covering up what really happened, or strangers that arrived at the party are responsible. Everyone there did not know everyone that was there, in the dark. Her friend is drunk and falls in the fire that is why she left the party...then just leaves her friend, wtf. I do not believe she even saw Madison before she left, I think she is lying that Madison said she wanted to stay there. She is just saying that to push away guilt from just leaving her there alone with strangers who showed up. What kind of friend would not go with their friend while seeking help from accidentally falling and getting burned. I feel from what everyone has said about Madison, she is the kind of person that would certainly go with a burned or hurt friend so they would not be alone. I bet inside.. she is glad she left as it could have been her this happened to also.
What did she mean "and that's when things started to change". Did she have a gut feeling that something bad could happen that is why she got out of there and did not stay when Madison supposedly asked her to not leave. The second time she says she was super drunk that is why she wanted to leave.
The next day.. the so called friend comes back the tent is open and deserted, truck there, stuff there, no Madison anywhere, and she does nothing.. calls no one!
Madison drank to much, was in the tent after her friend deserted her, was alone and easy prey from a stranger or strangers who showed up after seeing the party post on facebook. Most likely they drove her away from the area..and she has never shown up so she is most likely dead. Young people need to stop relying and thinking that friends are going to be there for you. You can only count on yourself, so do not put yourself in situations that makes you easy prey from horrible people.

      @Christine-xt8fr 5 ปีที่แล้ว +6

I don't know if she is the kind of person that would leave with her 'injured' friend. Yeah, people have described her as such, but actions speak louder than words. She had concrete plans to hang out with a good friend that moved away and was only visiting for a short time. That friend said she kept texting her about what they were gonna be doing when they hung out, and that Maddie ''finally'' texted her back & said, ''I'm going to a friend's bday party. Sorry'' Whenever ANYONE is killed, especially females it seems, and especially on the true crime shows & documentaries, they are almost always described as being so funny, so nice, so beautiful, so fun, so loyal, the greatest friend, so kind, etc.... and the most common one, of course, ''the life of the party''. I'm not trying to say anything negative about Madison, just that people tend to put crime victims on a pedestal and almost raise them to sainthood a lot of the time, so we reeeally don't now about her character if we're being honest. But again, the way she broke those plans with her friend does say something about her imo. Everyone keeps saying how wrong the friend was for leaving her there. And while that's true, the same can me said for Maddie. If her friend was uncomfortable, and especially if she was injured, then she should have left with her (her own safety aside- even tho she should have left for her own safety alone, if nothing else).
That being said, her friend looks like a liar to me! Especially because of how she's sure to mention that she was hurt. ''I should have left with her... even if I WAS hurt''. and even more so because of the way her eyes dart around when she says ''she misses her friend''!!! I'm not good at putting things succinctly hahaha, but my whole point is, we can't make whole assumptions like that, just based on how everyone is singing her praises in this doc.
PS: Maddie's mom said she was the sober one & that she definitely didn't have too much to drink. Based on what she said, Maddie had about a glass of wine and a couple cans of beer, at the most.

@@Christine-xt8fr I agree 100%. The way she ditched her friend (that was only in town that night/ weekend) seems kinda mean and selfish. Like Madison got a better offer so the heck with her other friend. She could've at least invited the girl to go with her. And I'm not saying Madison was a horrible person, I just think she wanted to stay with whoever she thought she was gonna have the most fun with. That's why she didn't leave with her "friend". I do find it odd that her friend was " black out drunk" but after falling in the fire, she was sober enough to drive home? The friend did seem suspicious in the video but I guess everybody acts differently and surely the police have made her take a polygraph and questioned her extensively. Seems like if Madison was her good friend, she would've been concerned or worried enough the next day to let someone know. One thing is for sure and that is there is someone out there that knows what happened to Madison that night. I hope they find her alive or get some closure.

I listened to a podcast about this case where Maddie's parents were interviewed and a few things were clarified. Jordy was not Maddie's "best friend". They'd only reconnected recently. She left the party early because she fell close to the fire and scraped herself and she was "super drunk". Also, Maddie had no way of knowing that she'd be left all alone at the campsite. There was the belief that others were camping too. So Jordy leaving doesn't actually sound strange to me at all. Not all girls have the buddy system. When I was young and partying, girls in my friend group left for one night stands occasionally, made their way home on their own, left to get food or to another party, etc. Once, one of our friends was found by police lying in the street, passed out drunk. We were stupid and reckless, and quite frankly I'm amazed nothing worse happened to us. We lost track of friends in our group throughout the night. And, if someone got too drunk that it wasn't enjoyable anymore (feeling sick), yes - they usually wanted to go home. And if someone injured themselves, yes - they wanted to leave because being hurt is no fun...it's a real buzz kill on your mood. Once my friend stepped on a piece of broken bottle, so she went home. The only friend that I could rely on that we'd stick together the whole night was my best friend. Everyone else, we'd lose track of sometimes. And remember, Maddie and Jordy were NOT besties. They were casual friends who hadn't spoken to each other for years until planning to go to that party. Everything is in hindsight too. When you go back to your friend's tent and see all her things inside, you don't immediately think something bad has happened. No, you'd think she stepped away for a bit...maybe to swim or find a place to pee. Who thinks of something ominous immediately? You never think this happens to people you know.

I am under the impression that the two girls were going to share the tent. At 20 yrs old. Did they have a past that may have involved some sexual exploration together? Maddie may have been getting a feeling that it could happen again, and maybe Jordy wasn't getting what Maddie was puttin' down, until she got to the party. Awkward 'surprise' lesbian date? Jordy wanted to leave but she came with Maddie. So in a way, Maddie sort of had her hostage at the party. She looked to Tyler and her 'injury' from the fall into the fire, as her viable emergency safe escape plan. Twisted? Maddie was hurt. Jordy was hurt. I don't know if the story just didn't share it OR maybe it did and I missed it but one thing involving the friend strikes me as very odd. Without going into great detail as a teen I was once out partying with friends (lots of people we didn't known were also at this event) and went "missing". Once the friend I had driven to the event with actually confirmed I had not returned home the following morning, she didn't go to an adult immediately ( being teens, understandable) however she did immediately turn to other friends explaining she couldn't find me, asking if any of them had heard from me, what should she do ect. This was long before cell phones and social media. WHY is their no record of Maddie's friend making an effort to find out where she could possibly be after seeing she was missing from the campsite??? Why is there no record of her calling her friends explaining what she knew and asking for help and advice, or at least asking if any of them had heard from Maddie? Not immediately asking for input from friends absolutely defies what one would expect from a teenage girl or young woman in this situation.
    Very, very odd.

there is no records in my opinion because this Jordanne never called anyone, she said she felt bad for leaving Maddy so she went the next morning to help Maddy pack up,when she got there Maddy wasn't there and everything in the tent was all pushed to one side. Now I may not be the sharpest tool in the tool box ,but I would think that she would have called Maddie's parents right away.....she didn't,she went back and went to work.It wasn't until the next day that Maddie's parents hadn't heard from her over the weekend but the cell service where she was, wasn't very good,so they went to the sight and within 15 or 20 minutes the mother phoned the police.Yes I do think this so called friend knows something,And I hope someone or something makes her go to the police and tell them what she knows. In the 48hours documentary she points at Maddie's friend,he got wind of this and went to the police himself and took and passed a lie detector test.Sadly a couple weeks later he went missing. They found his head in a cabin....they have as far as I know been able to recover the rest of him. From what I saw on the show and having talked to his family he and Maddie were friends, and nothing more.

That's what I'm getting too- someone so twisted, and yet not obvious- I think gee friend carries slot of guilt for selfishly leaving but I don't think she is involved, just in that she left. She may suspect someone but not an accomplice. Whoever did this has no capacity to feel, is socially a misfit, knows damned well the suffering he causes and is apathetic as this is not the first or last, probably a victim of horrific abuse And has a sense of entitlement that helps his psychotic mind rationalize this disputable tendency! He is odd, but lies low and inconspicuous someone big and tall, quiet, facial hair brownish-auburn wears a hunting cap or camo type hat, these are the images flooding my thoughts in this case. Someone who can easily overpower his victims and who knows these forests inside and out - she's out there, in those vast woods somewhere, did they drag any other lakes, they should within a 12 miles area at the very least as I'd be willing to bet it's another lake-

Another thing is very telling , did she hear something in the middle of the night that woke her up and it scared her so much that she pushed her blankets aside grabbed her keys and phone to get out of there ? But it was too late to get away . Just by reason of deduction chances that some one just happened by there in the middle of the night is highly unlikely, its not a park, no it was either someone at the party towards the end that felt the two girls would be alone , or SOMETHING ELSE ?

They wanted to camp so they wouldn't drink drive, so how did the friend who by her own admission was wasted leave? How did she get home? Why when Maddie begged her not to leave her, why did she not tell her to leave with her?? Why not take Maddie home with you? How did the friend leave and get home safe? She must have got a lift, or not been drunk as she made out or it was planned and she had her ride waiting for her. If you managed to bag a lift home why would you tell your friend, tough sh*t love I gotta ride and I'm leaving you here? You wouldn't, period. Also when she speaks she hesitates and using filler such as 'like' a lot. Speech analysis calls this speech dis fluency, when someone lying hesitates when speaking as to 'think' about what they are saying. It's harder to remember a lie than to tell the truth. All of her interviews show signs of this.

IF I'd just always listen to myself, I could save myself from going through HELL a lot of times. But I lie to myself and try to down play shit when I should not. Maybe one day I will learn. Regardless, even naïve stupid me would know better than to EVER try to pull something like this off!!! Go partying and camping in a hugely remote area????????????? ummmmm NOPE!!

@@sheamc1 This Jordy "friend" shouldn't of left Madison in the first place..... That was already really bad of her to do, and weird. What makes Jordy even more suspicious is the fact she does not bother to contact Madison or her family the next day. If they had a fight or not you still should make sure each other are safe especially leaving her at a party in a forest alone. I don't believe her one bit (Jordy) I think she needs to be tested again!

Dude. Her friend KNOWS what/who went on. She slipped near 3 mins in & stated they "set up the tent" TWICE? Leaves, never calls her or goes by her house a couple days, but goes to work? yes teens drinking do stupid shish. But we ALWAYS talk to each other practically daily, ESPECIALLY after partying or whatever. That girl is hiding something and scared, crying right away at start of story, intensifies cry when speaking of the 'people' showing up. . . . .

I hope jordy's conscience catches up with her soon and she tells the truth..I don't know if she has a family of her own now but maybe when/if she has children she will realise the pain these parents are going through every day.

Yea I thought that straight away bout her eyes. And her demeanour is all off. But she must have been polygraphed If everyone known 2 be there was. But I dk, if she only suspects wot happened would that be the same on a polygraph, as if she knew 4 def. Plus she had gotten drunk, & got in a fight with ppl there, she doesn't mention the fight. Why would maddie be 1, the only one 2 not leave, it makes no sense. She has 2 have also left, but against her will. And 2, why even if she wanted 2 sleep would maddie wanna stay with the ppl her friend was fighting with wen all her friends were leaving. Wen I saw comment bout a bf bein killed 4 drug debt, I thought it was jordis, but app it was a casual b/f of maddies. He passed the polygraph then was decapitated 2 days later. But they don't think its linked, cos he and maddie were not serious etc. But seems strange along with the friends demeanour. She at the v least has suspicions. She also comes over as guilty def, but it doesn't add up if she passes a polygraph. It's the fact she has been polygraphed that's strange. Though surely police will have picked up on her demeanour and non verbal cues straight away. Poss the b/f knew sum thin who knows, but jordi has 2 at least suspect wot has happened. She is not being straight that's for sure

The answers are with her so called friend Jordie. Not only is she slow and rehearsed but she is very vague and she uses "like " alot. First she says that the party turned bad. How? she was drunk and fell in the fire and she left with only five people left at the party? Hadn;t there just been a crowded party??? Then Jordie says that she returned in th e morning and checked her tent? Why hadn';t Jordie called Madison's Mum immediately? Instead Maddie's mum called Jordie the following morniing but only spoke with her mum .. Her other friend says that they returned to the camp site Sat morn and didn't even check to see if Maddie was sleeping in the tent. But Jordie had looked in Maddie's tent, Then Jordie later says that she left the party cause she was like really like really drunk. Things turned bad? Maybe Jordie left because she was involved in the disappearance and wanted to appear to seem like she left before the crime occurred. Jordie returned to the camp site . Why to check on Maddie . "? If that were the case she would have called Maddie/s Mum immediately or at least tried to find Maddie and where she was if not near the campsite. She has to be interrigated with a fine tooth comb. Drunk or not she would get caught in the wicked web she would weave.

I remember when my brother died, I was SO angry. I couldn’t handle being around people or going on social media. I couldn’t handle seeing people just living their lives.. I felt so strongly that EVERYONE should be just as angry and upset as I was. I was confused how I could be feeling the way I did and nobody else felt the same. It’s such an odd feeling.. it’s hard to explain. Although in a calm mind I know that’s not reality or how things work.. that kind of trauma really messes with your perception of what’s real. This story makes me so sad.. you just wonder how anyone could ever stop caring, stop looking.. like this isn’t someone’s beautiful child. 😭😭😭
