After years of talking to Pyrion and Sips, our lebanese boy has grown and got himself a kid of his own. All it took was the boredom that came with a lockdown stopping him from going near bodies of water
Me aswell. I've always been really good at writing and comprehension. But I am a goddamn idiot when it comes to math. I am just terrible at problem solving my poor teachers and even college professors had to spend hours with me to help me understand stuff. Thank god its over.
I got through it in the end, middle of the road passing grade, but I'll be buggered if I can even look back and make any sense of it now. It's a hard thing to describe to people who just 'get it'. The closest I can get is its just like looking at another language, that you have no grasp of whatsoever. You stare and stare at it but nothing connects, in your head.
Hilarious! But I can kinda understand Lewis' need to interject here, haha, I play this type of game on my phone every night to help me fall asleep, and watching them struggle with such a super simple puzzle would also make me want to help out XD
Numbers mean there are this many black squares in a row to fill in in this row/column, with groups in that order. Crosses are like flags in minesweeper if you're familiar, just saying "this one's empty" (although unlike minesweeper it's possible that you HAVE to fill all the blank spaces in with crosses?) The important thing is it's EXACTLY as many as the number and no more, so if you see a 3 that means there's 3 black squares in a row and crosses filling out the rest. And if you have more numbers like the 1 2 in the video, that means starting from where the numbers are and going down the line is a lone black square, some kind of gap, 2 squares in a row. If it was the other way, 2 1, you would put the group of 2 first. It's fun and I recommend trying it, especially if you like similar puzzles like minesweeper and sudoku
So I often split my phone screen into two parts, with TH-cam on the top and a game on the bottom. And it just so happens I have a Nonograms game open, doing an 80x80 puzzle as this plays! Haha I wasn't really watching the video, and then I heard Lew Lew explaining how to solve it, and I was like "I recognise those instructions'! Hehe small world 😊😊
@@AbsoluteTravisT Never seen this game before, and the clip doesn't explain it, thus confusion ensued. Also I looked up how to play and I still dun get it lol
The numbers above and to the side tells you how many tiles you can remove in each line/column. So for example, a [5] above a column says that you can remove all tiles in that column (since there are only 5 tiles in a column), but a 1 says that you can only remove one tile. If you guess the wrong tile you lose. The tiles also have to be neighbouring each other, so if for example there is the number [2] next to a line, it says that you can remove 2 tiles from that line, and that they have to be next to each other. When there are multiple numbers on a line/column, it tells you that there are multiple groups of numbers to remove. So with for example [2, 1], it says that you have to remove a total of 3 tiles from that column/line, 2 of which are next to each other, and one that is alone. If you figure out that a tile absolutely can't be removed, then you can mark it with a cross to remember that easier.
Each row/column is broken into sets of numbers. Set denotes who many coloured squares there are. So, 5-2-1 would mean 5 coloured, one space, 2 coloured, one space, 1 coloured. In a 10x10 grid, this would be enough information to fill-in the whole row/column. By solving other rows and columns, you're getting more information about where the spaces are, and they help you figure-out where the sets are placed in other columns/rows. There are some tricks you can use, like 'pretending' to place all of the sets as far left as they possibly could go, then pretending to place them as far right as possible. The squares that are coloured on both 'pretends' by the same set are certainly coloured (but not if they are only coloured by different set). Like, if you have a 5-long row and a set of three to be placed in there, farthest left would be cells 1, 2 and 3, farthest right would be 5, 4, and 3. Both include 3, so 3 must be coloured.
I hate the way the Twitch community morphs words so hard that they lose all meaning. How is Lewis "malding" here? Why is showing any kind of affection towards a woman "simping"? None of this shit means what it originally did and it's so annoying. WORDS HAVE MEANINGS, PEOPLE!
