For backing up guidance I like the “how big was the fish” technique. The guide holds their hands apart the distance that needs to be covered, and as the driver backs up the “fish” gets smaller until your palms come together and the hitch is lined up.
Laura, you are a blast. You remind me of my daughter who is about to turn 26. With all that wrong in the the world these days your generation continues to show me there is a lot more that is right. People just need to open there eyes to the positive. You go girl.
We have a nice digital air gauge. We can set it for the desired PSI, clamp it on and it will stop when the tire reaches that PSI. Love it! No more fill, check, fill check, oops too much, let some out, check, oops too much, fill . . . . .

A phazer was an upgrade for me. My first machine was an old yamaha enticer. I loved that thing and took it up in the rockies by us a couple of times. My dad and uncle grew up on the old pumas, cheetas, elans. We will upgrade some day but those old machines are a blast.
So that you can be seen along the drivers side through the mirror. You should be able to see Grant as well or the V-neck of his shirt. Palm up and a come hither motion to proceed. Finger and hand pointing to guide left or right. Twirling your finger and hand point can make it more visible. (All of this visible in the mirror.) When close, hold your hands apart palms facing each other,, and demonstrate the distance remaining and continue to do this and adjusting the distance between your hands to show how much farther. Slap them hard together when you want him to stop. That usually is 6 or 8 inches before he reaches the perfect spot,, because,,, you have a reaction time, plus, Grant has a reaction time, plus, the truck has a reaction time. If you want a little bit more,, come hither or wave away and use thumb and fore fingers rapidly coming together,, a duck quacking,, and hand a bit sideways to Grant so he can see the motion. An all stop signal, stop immediately,, Grant has reached the perfect spot,, is in danger of damage, running into something, etc.. STOP is a sudden hard closed fist. Those basic hand signals work for backing trucks, combines, directing crane operators. (For cranes, cable up or cable down is finger pointing up or down and twirling,, until you reach the perfect point,, then the sudden hard closed fist. You can also point and twirl your finger and hand for left, right. If working crane work stay well away at a point you can see and be seen by the operator and you have a solid view of the load.) That is it. The common hand signals.
When your were talking about backing up, that spinning motion we use with crains and lowering the ball. You guys are to funny with the coolers. I would like mine with some "farm story/scratches" attached, like signing it'. Giving it some character. LOL
Now I’m desperate to get back on the skidoo’s at work, but you know, I can wait until there’s snow at least 🙈 through the dirt sends shivers down my spine 🥴🥴😂😂
Love your videos Laura, and keep them coming! Good to see you guys together all out having fun! Still laughing at your dad almost going over the handlebars! LMAO. I'm from Wisconsin and I'm waiting for the snow myself!
I love snowmobiling. I have two sleds. A 1991 Arctic cat Wildcat 700. And a 1995 Arctic Cat ZRT 800 snowmobile. I have been snowmobiling about 48 years. I got my first snowmobile in 1972. So if possible , would like to see more of you and Family on your Sleds.
If you want snow come up north Northern ontario, Laura you are beautiful and you know it , that is why you are making these video's. Grant thumps up to you.
Great giveaway but please be careful on any identifying item like license plates in your videos. there are some really weird people out there that will track you down for all kinds of unwanted reasons. sorry to be on the negative side on this post but I want you guys to stay safe even fro other people. food for thought! good luck and have a great day!
That was fun! I ain't been dropped so many times since I was a teenager! Camera crash is real! ! New equipment is always fun, guess we'll see the new head when it's delivered. Only "snow" here in Bama is the cotton fields we're harvesting!
@@tommathews3964 That great to hear ,thanks for asking. can you send me your gmail or number so that we get to know each other probably become friends if you dont mind
Backing up, aligning up, signal. Start with both hands up like someone just scored a touchdown. as they draw closer decrease the distance a part till the two hands touch which means stop/ Easiest and universal hand signals. AND the ice chests are worth more now, they are ":Tested"
I spoke to Connor Black. He said to just send me the cooler as a Christmas gift. J.K., LOL I think the universal sign for STOP, is making a fist in the air, but an open hand is a common sign. @ 3:40, the worlds biggest Norelco shaver for the corn fields. LOL @9:55, I'd like to hit that place with my Equinox 600 metal detector.
3:05 Grant steered and Laura got the thing in the hole. Team work kids, in the future you all are going to have better cooperation for more; intimate things. Job well done 👍!
@@TUGG75 it is as simple as changing sliders. Change the sliders before they get to the rails. Been riding sleds in northern Canada for 30+ years. Put machines through all kinds of hell. Plus, those old machines have so many bogey wheels on them, slider wear is minimum. They're more likely to melt the sliders off with lack of snow lubrication than anything but, they're tearing through water as well. That washes and cools everything down. No harm done. Newer sleds would likey be overheating though with the higher HP engines and lack of snow in the tunnel.
@@TUGG75 seeing as they're the ones riding and maintaining them, why don't you ask them how often they change sliders and the amount of hours they ride. I'd be surprised if they change them even every season.
I have a friend named Conner Black and I keep thinking it’s him, but I don’t want to randomly text him and ask him if he could have won a cooler from Laura Farms 😂.
I would say come to North Dakota, but we actually have no snow right now... normally we get a few feet by october... by the way, what happened at 5:28 was nothing compared to hitting a five foot drift and catapulting over the hood, snapping the windshield in two with my face... happens on my '71 ski whiz about once a year...
Good morning! Enjoying your channel and curious about the Seabee flag in your shop. My father served in MCB4 59-62. Is there someone in your family that was in the SeaBees? Hope you have a great day.
Forget the cooler. Send me that old truck 👍🥴🤣
Right? I was thinking that same thing. That thing is way cooler. (
That’s a god dang good American set for me not you haha

I was thinking the same. I love those old school chevys.

I love the fact that you ask the question, and then just happen to have, well, snowmobiles in Nebraska!
Glad to hear your cutting back on the energy drinks. Have a great week.

Best video I’ve seen on your channel. I love to see you being you.

I am 76 and I have never eaten Taco Bell as far as I know. Now you need to use the leveler to do away with all the snowmobile belt tracks!
Hey. That's. Amazing 👍
Laura you get so much exercise you dont need to worry about your calories..if anything you need it as hard as you work..you work hard and play hard.
