Fixing Mercedes all day with a tiny setup

- Clemente is an auto technician with over 8 years of experience in the field fixing Mercedes. He does it all from his small but packed setup. It was really cool to see how small and compact he was able to keep his setup. Not only working on a specific brand, but a specific vehicle every day, I can see how the need for expanding is not at the top of his list. Thank you so much Clemente for inviting me out and showing me your setup. If you enjoyed the tour that Clemente took us on, give this video a Like!

Homeboy is high as hell!😂😂😂
😂😂😂
He was probably camera shy😂
He keeps his small heat gun in his right jacket pocket. Bro smokes all day lmao
@@markm0000. My guy hits a quick bowl then starts throwing rivets everywhere. 😂
Only way to stay sane working on those sprinters all day
He definitely uses the smaller torch for recreational activities 😂 too smooth pulling it out of his pocket 😂
Agreed...dude was baked!!!
Pshhh baked
I'm not sure if I'm more impressed with his dialed-down setup, or the fact that he was able to give a coherent tour while being baked AF!!
I feel like this guy is an expert on lighters and torches... for work..
That was a great tour. So many people want and buy the tool castle. They put themselves in a lot of debt. Many times it is needed. It is so good to see someone so happy with having the bare necessities. I respect that so much. My first thought was I want to buy this hard working gentleman one of those US General full length drawer carts(green). Thank you for your dedication to the service industry. Have a blessed holiday season.
Thanks John! Have a great holiday season as well!
I agree. I’m not a professional mechanic I just work in my own motorcycles and vehicles. But I’m an industrial controls engineer/electrician,mechanic and I work with guys who have massive boxes and don’t use a 1/3 of it
Bro is baked like a fuggin cake off them dabs with that snap on torch😂😂
This dude charismatic. I wish I knew him in real life. He looks chill and cool. 😊😊
Years ago I worked with an old guy who had two small beat up old snap on boxes from the 50's that didn't match and one was even missing a drawer. But what was really funny was he was the guy we all borrowed tools from. He just knew exactly what tools you had to have and that's what he filled those two crappy little boxes with, no fluff. He also piled his tools up like this, he was a great mechanic too.
Clemente type makes up majority of younger techs in my shop. Most have the harbor freight carts and actually repair cars with just a few tools. The rest use the tool room or from other texhs
If you mostly work on one type of vehicle, you only need the tools specific to that vehicle....no need for a fully stocked Snap On EUV!
I work at an Ambulance repair shop. We only work on Mercedes Sprinters, Ford E-450 Box's and Ford transits. Only so many tools required. We got 7 large Snap-On boxes and everyone has a roll cart for every day use.
Yeah, it’s amazing how much you’re able to slim down on tools when you work on a particular line of cars. Then you can slim down even more when you work on a particular model of a line.
Interesting setup, cool to see all those tools in that little cart!
This guy really does it all!!!
Nice. Got what he needs without any fanboy flair. Do it! Thx for sharing. Watching from Ontario Canada 🎉
Thanks for watching Sean!
Love the small setup you know if its no good it aint making the cut
Alot of quality snap on in that little cart. Most rad dude youve had on too 😂
More tiny box tours please
I loved this one I love every one of these videos but this one was super cool. Keep it up brother I look forward to these videos every week!
Thanks Jack! More to come
Another great tour as always man, he seems like a genuinely good dude just. Keep up the good work man!
Thank you!
My man's got a ton of stuff crammed into that cart! That was really cool to see, so many people have huge setups and tons of stuff they don't even use (myself included) its refreshing to see how he operates with no issue out of such a condensed setup. I'd actually love to see you go back after his new roll cart comes in. I think it would be awesome to see what he does with a little more space.
Thanks for sharing Clemente and thanks Tool Box Tours loved the set up and this is more up my ally, restricted by space and ching ching this was beautiful. 👍
Thanks for watching!
Another favourite from the channel. just goes to show don’t need the biggest flashy setup to make it work. I find the smaller condensed setups are more interesting
Thanks Austin!
Great video! I had a small set up at work for years and when you only need specific day to day stuff it's perfect.
So true!
Love that he has the same love of the game... can't wait to see the upgrade
Dude is legit. Love this
I relate to this setup video a lot! I just upgraded to the same cart he’s about to upgraded to myself, it’s awesome. He will have so much more room for all of that stuff 🎉
Yeah he should have a ton of room in the new cart
Cool. That's a well distilled set of tools. Also, that US general 5 drawer service cart is on sale now for $189. Just a heads up.
Nothing at all wrong with this man’s setup would be proud to use this setup.
When you e torx bolts the set of sockets and wrenches you need is really simple.
That Snap-On Torch also part times as a dab torch 😂
😏
Hell ya shout out to the small fries in the industry!
Thank you for another wicked video man! Hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving and hope your Christmas is just as nice man godbless 🙌
Thank you Matt! I really hope you have a great holiday season as well!
@@ToolBoxTour thank you!!!
Love these vids! What I would really love would be a boat shop though. Something to relate too for me.
Oh a boat shop would be cool! I’ll add it to the list
He said lost the batteries like they died lol , nice set up I’m thinking of getting that cart
Nice setup! I was planning on setting up something similar at home with the Milwaukee 40 inch cart and just leave everything on the top of the cart!
Something you may want to know about that Snap-on 14.4 UV light. It’s super bright, but with the UV dye we use, it only works correctly with the included yellow enhancing glasses. While the rechargeable Streamlight UV penlight works better even without the yellow glasses.
I couldn’t find any leak without using the yellow glasses using the Snap-on UV light. It’s still usable but only with those yellow goggles.
Good to know! Thanks for the info
Hey you should do a toolbox tour of the guys that make tool boxes! The guys and gals that maintain the machinery or something...just an idea
Another great video!
Thank you! I appreciate you watching!
As a technician i love this smaller box tour! If your ever in the orlando area your more than welcome to do a box tour! Work on everything any make any model, not dealer associated
This is definitely all you need you don't need thousands of tools to work and get the job done
just thousands of dollars of tools
This guy brought minimalism into the shop 😂👏
You should do a follow up tour when he gets his new box
0:48... I have that exact cart.. I bought it as a Sunex tool cart ~5 years ago...it's been good.. you can get quite a bit in it if you try..👍
Remember the mechanic is greater than the tool
dude is pretty happy with his leaf blower
If mine was snap-on, I’d be happy too 😅
His Snap-on balance must be sky high. But if likes it, that's all that matters.
I wonder what drawer he keeps his snap-high stash?🤔
Great video as always!
Thank you!
✌🕶🔧
😂 thanks for watching Alfred!
Brother get the snap on mini flex head ratchets got mines in 1/4 and 3/8 those get into tight spaces and work magical on Mercedes
If you look hard enough, you can spot the 1/4 mini flex in his socket drawer 🤘
I prefer this over a massive box with a bunch of empty drawers
Clementine seems like a dope guy. I’d love to work next to em
dont always go for big lol i went big 8 years ago, in a new shop now talking about downsizing for portability. gonna trande in a epiq 84 with sidecab for a 68 with a roll cart
On today's video mr tool whisperer shows how minimalistic is enough. And the meaning of the word "chill" 😂
Definitely chill 🙂
Thats alot of stuff packed into that cart. When he gets his roll cart hes gonna have a ton of room😂
I would like to see more DIYr home garage toolbox/gear tours. I look forward to your vids for inspiration for my own toolbox! I’m sure Amazon appreciates you also indirectly! I add something to cart every video probably…SMH
Haha you’re not alone my friend
Some people spend a lot of money on a box and wind up. Buying budget tools disguise Spencer lotto money on tools. Eventually, he'll get his box. But there's just goes to show you. You don't need an expensive box to make a living. More in the pocket
Nice cart. Really like the sliding top. I wonder if it can be modded to add another drawer
Good question! I know the MAC boxes that have slide tops can be filled with drawers down to the bottom.
this dude is baked out his mind lmao!
"Picking color is expensive" 😂😂
That my dad
He’s a good man! Thank you for letting me borrow him for a bit!
if you stop working for a dealer how would you use your snap on warranty
Are you going to tour heavy equipment service trucks?
Yeah it’s on the list!
I like the set up especially cause he has only the tools he needs and it gets the job done if not he wouldn’t have made it 4 years ago
Does anyone know what those tanks are on his cart? It’s like a degreaser right!?
I swear I heard a smoke alarm low battery indication
In-dash under seats smoking a bowl
We now where all his money went 😏
I don’t care about the tool box only care about the quality of my tools that’s how I make my with not the tool box I have a 71 inch general tool box and it’s paid for cash
Wonder in HF makes a box like his hmmmmmm
Damn there’s no way I could work out of that, way too many tools I need daily to fit into that.
Milwaukee Electric tools last a lot longer and are much cheaper
Chirp 🦗
Yo, Jesus loves you! These videos are awesome!
Haha thanks!
Bro is licked 😂
I know why that torch was in his pocket
😅
$68 magnet tray made of canvas and magnets? Wtf?? Snap on fanboys really are a special bunch.
Don’t do drugs 😂
because hes a mechanic! not a tool collector!
Yeah after watching this I’d say he is more of a service technician rather than a mechanic.
This channel isn't called mechanic tool box tours.
Does anyone knows insta @ or whatever social media platform he uses?
For Clemente or this channel?
Poundland Post Malone 😂…
This guy is the definition of chill 🫶🏻 also personally what I love about this set up is everything looks like it has its purpose and there’s no showing off respect bro 😎
