Thanks mr Yosef This is the best recipe for making this food. I make it this way too I was looking for a recipe that cooks lentils with rice. Because the taste of rice with lentils is very delicious. And most recipes cooked lentils separately and rice separately. And I'm glad you did that.

Thank you. Looks amazing. I bought some kishmishe poloyi yesterday and am plannin to cook adas polo tomorrow. Very excited. Just that i donno why we say Persian Basmati. We dont have Basmati rice in iran. Those Basmatis are imported and they are considered as low grade rice and cheap. Sorry...just so crazy about our own rice which is way more tasty... hahaha

Saffron water - saffron strands + hot water (let sit for a couple mins - with top or no top ) = saffron water . Note - Saffron strands are very very expensive .
