The Vulture is either a great ship(with heavy engineering) or a flying coffin(no engineering), this default build they've put on it.... I'd say it's like an Armored Flying Coffin. A lot of the Vulture's survivability doesn't come from being a hull tank like they seem to have built it, but by simply not ever being in front of your enemy. By building it heavy as they did it's capable of taking on maybe small and medium ships of moderate difficulty, but no way is it surviving against actual good AI Elites. With how I have mine built it's so nimble that it can stay full throttle while flying loops around the target, by depriving it of it's agility in favor of more hull you're not doing it any favors; in order to swing outside it's weight class it really needs to not get hit, its not going to win a head to head with armed large ships under just about any circumstance.
I collected 900 imperial shields today. They made engineering so cheap I’m about ready to get rid of all my old engineered FSD that are collecting dust due to sco.
I dont have an engineered vulture, but i view it as one of the starter ships. I've flown it once. It can do well against the easier ships, but lacks against the bigger ships.
@@CaptainBrash Spot on. A Vulture only starts to work once you know what YOU'RE doing with ship-builds and that only comes with experience. In PvE my Vulture was pretty-much a god-ship. I could sit in a hazres all day, until I got bored, and frag ANY ship I pointed it at. Really, the only "down-side" to it is that you have to WANT to engage in combat. Most of the time I fly something bigger so I can make attackers go away as quickly as possible so I can get on with what I was doing.
Pulse laser can have Scrambler Spectrum experimental effect (same for burst but not beam). I think that is reason why it is here. But this fro 25k ARX? Kinda overpriced. Better choice is Beluga and make money for Vulture with it
I'm always happy to share my builds! Especially on Vultures - the lack of internals make them quite quick to engineer (And AX weapon choice is quite limited!)
awful setup they've put on it. Newer commanders should have been set on the right path with something better than a pulse laser (really?!) and not a hull tank!

So basically stick with my engineered one. Lmao.
The Vulture is my favourite dogfighting ship. Much more fun than large, sluggish gunboats.

You get to try out my new type 8 when I get off work today so I'm looking forward to that.

Hard disagree. It punches well above it's weight but needs to be highly engineered to be good. Not a starter ship at all
Engineered it's a different beast entirely.

Already have a Vulture which I've been engineering bit by bit. The paint job of this one is gorgeous though, hope they sell it separately.
for the cost, it should be OP, I built one for dirt cheap that's way better...minus the ship kit.
I hate that class 5 military slot, wish it was a normal slot.
to be fair these are cool if you want to buy the ship kit anyway =)
An engineered vulture can win a lot of pvpers in medium engineered ships. Just need a good tactic.
python mk2 I want to buy COLONIA ?
I'm really interested in that prebuilt ax ship since mine always sucked.
It sucks too but it’s got grade 5 dirty drags so that’s nice

Thanks 😊
What is the paintjob's name?
Will have to look in-game.nremind me on stream
Oof.

So elite now is becoming a P2W, LOL! ahahha
