This channel inspired me to put everything at stake to try my hand at the glamping business! I took a lot loan and I’m moving across the country to work on this project. Unfortunately the county is going to make me jump over lots of hoops before I can get my permits but I’m up for the challenge. Im also going to live 2.5 hrs away from the land and I will have to figure out a way to manage it remotely. Am I crazy? Probably. But I must try! Thanks to this channel for the information and inspiration

In the early 1980 I wanted build a Dome home 🏡 and the biggest problem I had was with the banks they didn't want to Finance my home so the results was I couldn't get my home. So I ended up in a track house 🏠 it was nice but it wasn't what I really wanted.

I'd like to know what insurance companies cover something like this as well as if there are any lenders for the domes themselves. Looking at some valued at $30k each. *I'm so sorry about the dog barking you're having to deal with. I can never escape barking in all of the places I've lived and I suffer sleep greatly for it and i don't want my guests to have to deal with it when they're there to relax, also knowing you can hear a lot more through the thin walls. I don't know the solution and it's certainly an issue that needs addressed on a much greater societal scale, with dog barking I mean. Best to you!!
how was "getting" the dome to the site? the spot im looking at i dont think can bring a big delivery truck (a pickup should be fine). how did you get the dome materials to your spot
@@li-nickels hey! I have a shop vac, some lady beetle insecticide from Amazon, and an exterminator /cleaning crew. The main thing I learned is shop vac them up early bc they send signals for more beetles to come

I'm lucky I don't have these problems where I own land but I will look into those sound devices that reduce their noise so I can give that advice to people that watch my channel who will need them. I'm lying a bit, my neighbor does have a dog but its big and fluffy and makes no noise. Every now and then it wanders on my land but I really could care less.

First and only dome in Houston? Dude! I was building dome homes in the 1970s. I visted several in Houston. Built a couple just north of Houston.

People Pacific Domes are very expensive. A better alternative is Ekodomes I just purchased mine for 7,000 a lot cheaper
I can't see those domes lasting more than 3 years, (the roof material mainly) could we get an update from the owner 3 years later?
